it was also an extremely likely manipulation tactic used in an attempt to garner sympathy from tommy and try to convince tommy that dream still cares about him and that dream is his 'friend'
I simply cannot withstand the fact that this animatic, no, animation, is quite underrated. You've done a great job potraying how Dream is connected to the endless cycle of pain and suffering in the server. Like everything that revolved around him, and his fall from grace.
If this doesn't get so much attention, I'll actually be incredibly disappointed, because. Listen. You've really made something beautiful. The timing with the music and how fluid important motions are with similar parallels being compared between characters who you wouldn't even think about. The color choices that hold a feeling with intensity, all the metaphors with uniquely clever symbolism and interactions, the ambiguous nature of so many of the scenes, the overall raw emotion that oozes from it. This is on par with some of the most popular animations that have come from the fandom, and it deserves a spot up there as well. Fucking incredible work. I'm just going to list some of my favourite parts, because holy shit, I rewatched this so many times. - the flashes of some of Dream's regrets - the shots of how the disc saga ended - the flashes showing parallels between Quackity and Sam - THAT ENTIRE STAIR TRANSITION WITH THE PRISON FALLING - the panic that you've been able to show in everybody's expressions - the fluidity of the Tommy and Dream fight - THE TRANSITION FROM TOMMY BEING ALIVE TO DEAD - RANBOO'S ENDERWALK FRAME - THE LOOK IN DREAM'S EYES AS HE USES THE REVIVE BOOK - THE PARALLELS BETWEEN PONK LOSING HIS ARM AND THE REVIVE BOOK LITERALLY PUTTING TOMMY'S FLESH BACK TOGETHER - WILBUR'S GRANDOUS REVIVAL - THE FLASHES BETWEEN THE DECEASED AND INTIGRATING IT SO CLOSELY WITH LAS NEVADAS - THE LAUGHTER AT THE END WHEN IT ALL GOES QUIET - THE ENTIRITY OF 2:56 - 3:10 WITH HOW FLUID AND GORGEOUS IT IS TO LOOK AT - LITERALLY EVERY PART OF THIS

The different shots and transitions are amazing! It's so fluid, and convers a lot of different parts of the story !! The shots with Tommy dying, then coming back, every injured person having a touch of blue on their wound, that's so cool. Also, the absolute awesome animation of the coin of quackity's hand... That's such a small detail, but wow. There is so much cool things, I could talk about every shot! But the general idea behind each shot, the transition... that's an amazing work !
