Actually fits with the blood scythe thing. Gyutaro, the guy who's weapons the blood atracks were based off of, has blood that acts like a poison.

imagine if he actually had a set of blood demon art abilities since the scythe's blood slash IS based off of gyutaro, an upper moon demon from the anime demon slayer.
blood demon art is basically like a specific style of attacks/moves, for example Gyutaro, upper moon 6 has the demon art this is based off - blood sickles.

I love the fact, that by what I assume to be just sheer coincidence, those ranged blood blades happen to create anime level gigantic splashes when they hit the water.
I absoultely agree, made the whole thing look nicer

like he literally has infinite power to create anything, but he doesn't make it too OP
This way the fight would be more than one sided and more interesting (I mean Clown would win anyways)
Also Clown is frightening. His voice is calm and quiet and he is a GOD I love the guy

The coolest thing is not the scythe or it’s abilities, but how when the “blood waves” hit the water and make a huge splash

Rewatching this. It would of been awesome if the enchant preventing running be called "Blood Clotting" which has a 60% to temporarily makes the target stunned leaving them with a slight speed decrease for 15 seconds after

Missed opertunity: you couldve made a offhand item called Clowns Chain that pulled people in and slowed them while also making them have a effect called Chained and if used in the normal hand its a grapple hook

I feel like with the scythe there could be 3 versions;
-Original, the perfected one you made in the video that Clown used
-Scuffed, where it has more powerful attacks, but it also uses more health
-Godlike, with the enhanced pull that launches players into the sky, more attacks, and it won't use health at all.
Of course the final 2 wouldn't be used in any fights but it'd be cool as a creative tool or something in case you wanna easily kill mobs and have fun at the same time, lol.
Just my idea of it tho.

I like it how they took a helpless change of netherite spawns and took it to giving them the penalty of death
Its not the change itself.....it's that people purposely chose to hide it.

I mean, with respawn enabled, death isn't so finite of a punishment anymore.
you should kept the inverted knockback effects high and made the scythe have a boomerang enchantment, that way when fighting on even fields he can throw the enemies behind him and while they're still figuring out what happened he can throw the scythe and follow with the poison combo. If he's above the player he can launch them into the air and snipe them with the blood ability, and if he's below the player he can spew the blood and throw them into the ground behind him with a great force. It'll be like he's hooking them the scythe and throwing them around.

This is a really well made idea, its so refreshing seeing something out of vanilla territory but still close to base game as an smp, a question I have is would you include a list of public mods used in the server for the future, and would you and the rest of the team eventually release some of the private mods in the future like the clown scythe in the future?

The way that weapon works is so good.
That is genuinely an amazing weapon concept and frankly I want it in the base game, *A scythe that shoots a projectile of blood which dispells and carrys any potion effects on you but deals damage to you in consequence*

If you are doing a lot of things with effects, the mod "Status Effect Timer" would be very useful, it adds the duration of the effect to the effect icons HUD :)

If clown does much reading or listening to audiobooks, a good series recommendation is He Who Fights With Monsters. It is a LITRPG and the main character attacks mainly in debuffs and afflictions. If he likes poisons or damage over time effects, it’s a series for him.
I as a plain human cannot understand how much work went into all those cool effects& mods n stuff but also just props to clown for being absolutely terrifying

There's a mod called medieval weapons, it has a halbard which is held in a really cool way, maybe u could make the scythe held like that, would look very menacing
