I just moved from Tampa, FL to Daphne, AL and I love it so far. Just visited the beach on Xmas and it's beautiful! Looking forward to enjoying Alabama! Great channel, very informative!
@@themixednomad Tampa is a great place to live, but it's overflowing with people and everything is priced too high. I'm a native to Florida and I love it, too. But, I don't miss the traffic or the inflated prices, right now. Southern Alabama is gulf coast life but way more peaceful. It's less hectic, very green and scenic, and people are extremely friendly. My car insurance went down 50%, too! Anyways, I think you'll definitely enjoy it!
Saw your comment on Southern Life's channel. Great to hear Alabama getting some love. Both of you guys make some great points about the pros and cons of Alabama. All the best to you guys in 2023! God bless!
Love your videos. We have family that moved to summerdale Alabama i visit 3 times a year its so nice. Trying to convince my hubby and 13 yr old to move. Were from north Jersey and cost of living up here is insane 😮💨
Hi! I’m a US veteran and am looking to buy a first home (eventually). But I would prefer to spend at least a year renting in AL before making that decision there. I would like to live no more than an hour from a beach! Your video was quite informative and I thought to ask ya’ll if you could recommend any small towns at that distance from the beaches?
That's a very broad question. There are too many to name.. It depends on what you like and what you're trying to spend. Call us to dive deeper - 251.288.6165
I'm looking for a place with a low cost of living and is pro-freedom. Would you recommend Alabama or Florida? Services and amenities is important. I visited South Dakota recently thinking it would be the place for me to move to, but it's way too isolated and it's too cold. Waited over 20 mins and couldn't find an uber. Thanks.
@Yellow Plague Productions It's bad in certain areas, just like any other metro area but we're surrounded by really nice communities. Check it out: www.niche.com/places-to-live/search/safest-places/m/mobile-area/
Merry Christmas! I appreciate all your videos so much, very helpful. Do you have any suggestions on certain areas of Baldwin County that are least vs most prone to tornadoes and Flooding? Thanks!
That's going to be case by case for sure. If you're looking next to the bay, rivers or coast, then you'll indefinitely be prone but if you're inland, you should be fine. Now if there's a hurricane or tornado and you're lucky enough to get caught in it then obviously all bets are off.
What are your thoughts on Dothan? We currently live in California, about an hour from the beaches & Disney, as well as a 4 hr drive from Vegas. We are seriously looking into moving to Alabama, and found Dothan, which is less than 2 hrs from the pan handle, with both New Orleans & Disney World only being a 5 hr drive away
@@LivingInLowerAlabamaOmg since when being close to Birm and Atl is a good thing? Two of three worst cities in the US I’ve ever seen (the other being Jacksonville). Omg actually sorry, forgot about Montgomery the Forth.
My mother's side of the family is in Alabama. One of my sisters lives in Alabama. If you live in the Huntsville area or along the coast, things are great. Otherwise, it's a lot more like Mississippi and that's not a good thing. I was born in Florida and still have an aunt and cousins that live near Tampa. Florida is great to visit but to live, no thank you. Personally, I prefer Georgia.

I would like to know if Target is an advertiser with your company. This is the 3rd video I watched, and third time Target was mentioned. This third time, the word “targeted” was slipped in and not the usual endorsement of how wonderful Target is. I’ve boycotted Target for 3 years over their grooming towards homosexuality and transsexualism to our children. I’m definitely moving, but I’ll find another real estate company if you accept money from Target to promote its stores.
You even mentioning that is absurd. I'm not sure if you saw our last comment but that's far from what we're doing. We also mention Home Depot, WalMart and everything else underneath the sun because our clients need to know what's here.
I lived in Venice Florida for most my life. I'm going home to Alabama next year. Florida is overrated and overpopulated anymore. Hell I haven't been to the beach in years and I only live 10 minutes away. Too many Yankees and too much drugs.

Alabama has no income taxes on pensions.
Only taxes 401k withdrawals at between 2-5%.
