Fergie's 93/94 team was a monster. For me it was better than the Treble winners of 1999. I think if you'd had Scholesy as part of that squad and maybe Andy Cole (as an out and out goalscorer was obviously missing from the 94 team - Hughes wasn't one by then) and they'd have a chance of going far in Europe and that's from me - a Liverpool supporter.
On current central defence injuries, maybe let McTominay & Evan’s play together till Varane / Martinez are fit again. Lindelof to cover left back till AWB, Reguilon, Shaw, Malacia is back. Casemiro should best play with two midfielders alongside him (Amrabat, Maino, Hannibal, Mount) to provide energy. Bruno should never play right wing, but a free role CAM behind forwards (with Eriksen or Mount as replacements). As for Rashford, he’s neither a winger nor CF, but he thrives on running behind defenders with or from a through ball or when cutting inside from the channels to shoot. Let him play alongside Rasmus on the left, as right flank/channel offensive support can be provided by Dalot (from right back) and Mount (from right midfield)

It was a great side, but it lacked a little bit of strength in depth. & in those days you could field only 2 foreign players in the european champions league. can you imagine the arsenal invin23foreignerscibles trying to put out a team in that competition in those days? so.. keane and ince both suspended for the final, i doubt mcclair & robson would have been able to compete with a milan or ajax.it was the class of 92 merged with fergie's dream team plus a few additions. treble winners were the better team. i knew they'd do it and i followed every single game and ticked off all the results on a sheet of a4 with all the scoreres, still have it somewhere. for me the 1997-98 was when i knew something awesome was on the horizon. i could never have dreamed it was the treble though.
