Como amo ouvir Brouwer. Com certeza há de ser admirado em Cuba como é Villa Lobos no Brasil. A maior virtude de um músico é exaltar e recriar a identidade nacional de seu país. Foda demais!!
Interesting interpretation. Your performance of the opening melody goes much faster than how I have played this. I also never thought to bring out the ritmico in the moderato dance sections to that nature of expressiveness, Ive always played it more straight. The four bars before the e major chord to c11 chord flow really nicely as well.
This piece is awesome. Thank you, Yuri. I'm starting learning this tomorrow! BTW, we've both played for the Corvallis Guitar Society. Unfortunately I missed your performance. Hope you come back to Oregon again soon... I heard it was awesome.

Any chance of this going up on Spotify? There are plenty of other versions of this song on there but I like yours the most, and I can see you do have a Spotify account where you have a discography. Really hope to be able to add your version of this beautiful song to my playlists one day.
it means you have an educated ear(by heart) and you'd enjoy sophisticated songs. I recommend Villa lobos, Astor Piazzolla, Leo Brouwer specially Une dia de November
Hearing this guitar song was the only good thing to come out of watching the OA, seeing as how they enticed me with an interesting premise that led to the disappointing climax of a gay high school drama class dance routine.

If I like this song, what other guitar pieces should I listen to? Anyone got any recommendations?
if you like this one then look at "When Buds are Breaking" by Johannes Muller ua-cam.com/video/YruebozHiGA/v-deo.html
Jorge Morel, and other South American guitarists.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
LOL that was a perfect description.
I loved the story but the school shooting ruined it
I've never been so angry at a televison show. Furious. Well said, jibbroni mouse.
I have to agree, but I actually liked it lots, despite the ending.
