It's great that you included an audio commentary with this video. I'm blind, and I haven't really been able to access the information in your videos until now. While I've learnt a lot from interacting with people in the video comments, it's great to have the main points of information in the videos themselves. This is the first honest testing / review I've seen of adult diapers. Most of the time, reviews only show the total amount a diaper will hold without putting any pressure on the diaper, which is unrealistic.
Wow that seems like a pretty amazing diaper I’ve had e had overactive bladder but it’s gotten worse over the years. I usually use better dry Abena X plus. I’ve also use dry 24 /7 diapers as well. But I’m really looking for something that will have the maximum absorbency in as little time during the day for changing as possible. I’m just more comfortable having the most absorbent diaper even if it’s bulky and gets quite swollen. Less stressed with having to worry about finding a place to change my diaper. I’ve been using these diapers for over six months now and they are great. Comfortable high waist bands good leek Guards. I can go for at least 8 hours sometimes up to 12 hours depending how much I drink without having to change my diaper. The worst thing is having to change your diaper often. So I can just put one on and be comfortable for majority of the day. The landing strip to put on the tapes as great as well. There were a few times later in the evening when I was leaving a concert and the Porta potty‘s were taken up by people. I really couldn’t hold in a A NO 2. So this diaper can also hold a large amount of duty , If that embarrassing situation happens if need be😌.
This Northshore adult diaper, or an Abena Abri-Form L4 adult diaper are the only products I will wear these days! Nothing beats going to the bathroom anywhere and at anytime regardless of in public or wherever.
Fascinating. I do like the tapes and fastening zone. Every adult diaper should have them. I'd wear myself if I knew where I could find them. I regret that I'm rather old-school in how I buy my diapers. I always drive to the nearest store to buy them. I reckon I could ask the store to order them online and then I could drive myself there to purchase them.
Northshore has a subscription system that gives you a small discount and sends them automatically, as well as some other companies. If doing it online isn't something you're comfortable with doing, you can also call Northshore and make orders if that makes it easier for you. You can also request samples to see if they're the right products for you before you order in bulk. I will also say that the difference in price can be reflected on the performance. Quantity doesn't really trump quality in this case. Store brands usually have poor skin health and usually always feels wet and slimy on the inside and out. Require changing 6-8 times per day. Becomes loose and saggy. Have horrible odor control. Premium briefs such as these provides you the freedom from being concerned about leaks around the clock and confident they will last. Gives you more time between changes without having to bring extras and having to change in public places. Having a good fit without the need to adjust them 20 times per day. Just give them a trial run and I bet you'll never go back.
I am up on my feet a lot and I'm not confined to bed by any stretch of the imagination. However, as a cashier at work, where it's quite busy to say the least, things get so freaking busy at work and we're so short staffed to no end right now. And this means that I don't get much of any restroom breaks because of it. And this results in me having to just go into my diaper and just keep getting the customers through the check stand a lot. And its in most cases, quite endless and it's just customer after customer after customer.
This doesn't look like a full mat diaper with total plastic outside right? That's what I'm looking for in size XL. Urine goes over groin and out the side of brief. All new briefs approved by medicad full family care in Wisc are with breathable mesh sides ... Resulting in big leakage and massive leakage when laying on sides. What do you suggest???? I have to purchase myself for my handicap son. I have found full mat select xl diaper thru Walmart which are shipped from supplier in NY (obviously NY doesn't have same stupid laws in their medicaid) Waiting to hear back from YOU commenting here only comment/request. This product is a fully plastic backed product, all disposable products suffer for side sleepers there are two options that can work for heavy wetting side sleepers, one is to use full cloth products that offer padding on the side of the briefs, the other and is my suggested method is to use a premium product like this and then also use a thin cloth pull ups (even cotton underwear can work) and a diaper cover like the Garywear Active PUL brief.. the reason I suggest the latter option is the premium disposable will help keep the skin dryer longer than any cloth products will but for side sleepers if the disposable does leak the cloth and diaper cover will keep the bedding dry. If you are forced to use certain products because of medicaid I would use them with a booster and use a cloth procut over them with a diaper cover to keep the bedding dry. Sadly most products covered by state medicaid do not offer the protection levels as premium products such as this item.

All tests are successful to us as we dont try to prove anything we are just looking for what a product is capable of. that being said we have had a few product that were able to "On average" handle at least 1- 400ml normal flow wetting . Dry/247, Northshore Supreme, Ego San Natural Comfort, BetterDry, Rearz inspire+, North Shore Mega Max and ABU Space all have an overall average of 400ml or better, the ABU Space having the Best overall Average in the tests. However these are averages leaks in a side sleeper position are very possible with every product so far if you are a side sleeper we advise using a cloth pant and a waterproof cover over disposables if leaks are an issue.
I been using north shore megamax pink medium diapers for years now and they are great ! I usually put on two cheaper diapers underneath with slits cut in them and put a medium megamax diaper over top and that works awesome, however I recently gained weight so I got a large megamax diaper and put a medium megamax diaper underneath with slits cut in it and that works great however I got to thinking and I got 2 extra large megamax diaper samples and I put on a large megamax diaper underneath with slits cut in it and put on an extra large megamax diaper over top and the extra large comes almost half way up my back and a quarter way up my belly , really awesome and you can just wet and wet and they feel nice and bulky between my legs ,I will be using the extra large and large underneath diapers again !!! Try this and you won't be disappointed !!
any thoughts on doing a test at sitting .. Like driving or riding in a car I would like to find a Plastic backed diaper that i can wear while in the car without needing Rubber pant, Thanks for your videos
Thank you for your support! we have thought about this doing test however the realities are, 1. We don't have a stand-in that is able to test this and we have limited funds, 2. testing takes tremendous time and adding another test is not feasible, 3. we use a lot of products in our current testing.
I would love to see the test result from a sitting position. I am sure a lot of people with incontinence want to travel and move around without embarrassing themselves like on an airplane or stuck in a traffic while on the road….

Same here. I became incontinent due to an injury in the service. I would love to test for you in the future. Trying out new products is often the gateway to finding something better than what I use normally. There is generally a diaper out there for everyone but until we find it, we use what appears to work no matter how bad it may be. I enjoy the videos on here as well because it gives me an insight into what can hold this amount and the tester reviews give great everyday life usage reviews.
We combined the data from dozens of studies and research information we found available. The first wetting test you did got about 2400. The average was around 2300. But the size I need, claims to only hold 42 oz. which is a little over 1200. So what should I believe?
NS has a recommended general use capacity of 42oz or 1200 ml but they also have an ISO test rating of 6500ml, Because the ISO testing is not a great indicator of real use results, NS smartly suggests a much lower use case. The product size used in our test is sized medium so you can see our testing falls below the ISO rating of 6500ml, 1,200 ml is a safe and even balance point for a 12hr product as an perfectly hydrated healthy person makes 100 ml of urine per hour on average so that equals to approx 12 hr brief. however as shown in our testing the product has more potential in the standing test, but in the belly sleeper test the performance was closer to the recommended 1200ml...

For me these are Northshore's worst diaper. They leak for me every time i wear one. The Northshore Supreme and Crinklz rarely leak on me. I can easily hit 10 hours 12 with booster and no leaks out of either one. Every time I wear the Megamax somewhere around hour 4 or 5 i feel the dreaded dribble of urine running down my leg. Which means I can really only wear these at home.
dont think you are alone, some products just dont fit right for some people... one thing everyone must do is experiment to find the Right product for themselves... what works for me may not work for you,
You guys make the best videos on this but genitalia plays a huge roll in the fit of a diaper. A diaper will fit a women much better and much closer to the urethra. I think seeing more women real world testers in addition to men as a comparison to see if the diaper performs any different for either men or women
You are very right! we do try our best to be as close as possible between female and male anatomies in our stand-in but we can't be 100% for either, We rely on volunteers for our "Guest Testers" and Real-World Tester so we are depending on whom is willing to assist. We would absolutely LOVE to get more female opinions and insights on the products! hopefully, we can find a few women that are willing to assist with this!

The crotch is wide and thick enough considering we can’t “point” another way and the liquid kind of wicks wherever in the padding depending on the position we’re in. I’m an active sleeper so usually the diaper is usually wet all over by morning, if that makes sense. At least it works for me and my sheets are dry!
In the past I have included that audio when products have a loud "crinkle" but I will consider adding this to all our reviews, this product does not have a very loud crinkle that i was able to notice.
I does take some time to get used to using these but eventually they become just underwear that allow those of us that need them to live an active healthy life!

Adultbaby diaper with very THICK, dry 24/7 or northshore mega max,, One time diaper per night i sleep with up with lying down then turn to down with normal flow, other regular diaper but 3 time change diaper per night if too full peed then leaking on underpads but got wet on underpads, i sleep but feel full bladder then pressure then go to bathroom against per night
Your testing is not accurate because when you have a diaper on it gets warm from your body heat so testing it when it is cold is not accurate I know because I have to where diapers at night and in the day time and I have peed in it more then you have shown and it never leaked and the number you said is less then what it can hold it can hold a lot more than that I know I have hydrocephalus it means water on the brain and I can say it holds up all night and I do pee a lot more then the average person so I know you should do the test with a real person it is more accurate.
Little demon, His testing is based on a set flow rate from averages. Every person is different. Thus it is difficult to guage performance of an icontinence product 100% accurately for every single person. I have actually leaked in Confidry prodcuts becausae It was not taped and secured properly. They do their best to test accurately. I have found their tests very useful in selecting products for my needs. They give rough baselines. To test out a product for you requires you to actually buy the product for YOURSELF and use it to see how it works for YOU.

This may be an annoying question to answer if you even answer it, but have you ever had any side sleeper test that was successful?

Its agreat nappy leek free as far as I'm aware never had a wet bed or a leeking wen out in the day

What causes me wear adult diapers is that I had a stroke and a combination of my medication.

Your testing is not accurate because when you have a diaper on it gets warm from your body heat so testing it when it is cold is not accurate I know because I have to where diapers at night and in the day time and I have peed in it more then you have shown and it never leaked and the number you said is less then what it can hold it can hold a lot more than that I know I have hydrocephalus it means water on the brain and I can say it holds up all night and I do pee a lot more then the average person so I know you should do the test with a real person it is more accurate.
