    Thanks for making this. I've been wearing Threaded Armor Protective Briefs exclusively for 1-1/2 years now and I agree that they are the most effective and comfortable solution for both light and heavy incontinence. I had never given thought to putting more than one insert inside the liner until I saw this video. Thanks for that

      Videos will be released as we can test products and create videos, but unfortunately other life priorities means we cant predict how often we will release videos... only as we can, we will.

    Good to see you doing videos again! I've missed the good info. Personally I've been planning to buy a set of these, im currently using dependco all in one cloth diapers with disposable inserts and it's working great so I believe the threaded armor is the next logical step.

    I have been using the Threaded Armor protective briefs for about 6 months now (nighttime only). These are the most comfortable diapers I have ever used! And I have been using adult diapers for 20 years now. I am a very heavy wetter at night and I bulk them up very thick. The only time I have leaks is when I breach capacity, which is not very often. I have had much better quality sleep since I started using these diapers, they are amazingly comfortable!!!!!!!!!! The designs are great too, they pretty much look like regular underwear. They have some fun prints too. Great product!

      @@RealWorldIncontinence your welcome. I love these diapers, I haven't used any disposables since I got these. My daytime incontinence comes and goes, and lately I have not had any daytime issues, so I haven't had the chance yet to try them in the day. But my bedwetting is permanent. If you want to know which inserts I use, let me know.

      I started off getting the large snap on diapers, but they were too tight and leaked though the enclosures, so I ordered a 5 pack of the pull-ups in extra large. They sent me large pocket inserts by mistake, so they had to send me the XL inserts. I used 3 step up inserts and an XL soaker bomb folded in half up front. That was very bulky between the legs and wasn't enough protection for me. Then I realised I had these Large pocket inserts that I wasn't using, so I stuffed the L pocket insert inside the XL insert and added 2 step up inserts, one folded in half with an XL soaker bomb up front. Bingo! Perfect set up for me, and very comfortable! If I know I had too much to drink, I will put a size 7 pampers baby diaper underneath the pads to help catch leaks...works like a charm! (I use the Pampers swaddlers, and the cloth like covering is super easy to rip off taking the tab tapes with it)...

    Yay your back. I don't know much about cloth briefs but that looks interesting. It seems it's a bit of a process to get it ready. But I definitely see how it would save money.

      Using Reusables adds levels of complexity and some chores but can be worth it depending on each persons needs.. We have several videos in the works going over diferent types of reusables but because of everything involved will take some time to produce,

    I'm here hoping that some manufacturers will come for honest feedback. The reusable incontinence market is quite outdated or inadequate in my opinion. I know the investment involved when getting these and usually they come far from meeting my needs.
    As far as Threaded Armor goes, their products have bad press out issues. The leg guard only helps promote it. Microfiber is one of the worst culprits for press out issues, and considering the weight of an adult to an infant is quite different. So I don't quite understand why they use this fabric.
    It's not just Threaded Armor, but the vast majority of manufacturers use it. It's in just about every modern product out there. I just don't understand why they keep resorting to this fabric. If you take a look at baby products, they have a plethora of different fabrics that they use. The technology between the two seem light-years apart if you really dissect it.
    The closest I've come to have been Ecoable. They use a bamboo mixture in their fabric and I've really noticed a difference. The one thing about them is that they're on the small side. I'm a size 38in waist and use their extended size, but I'm still on the high end of their size.
    I'm hoping to get some more insight about products I haven't tried and hopefully issues with a majority of these will be discussed and improved upon.

    I used Threaded Armor Briefs for a while. Laura is very good to deal with. The product was good quality in terms of absorbency and confort, but ended up discontinuing use because I realized that I was MUCH more comfortable and secure in a product that fits like a disposbable tapped brief than a pullup. I had gotten so used to diapers that wearing a product similar to regular briefs was a change I just couldn't get used to. Jason can you please do a review on Ecoable's products? I really like their fitteds and use them every day and am curious to see how they rate in your tests!

    I use disposable adult diapers to manage my incontinence. I'd like to be more environmentally responsible with the diapers I use and am considering cloth diapers, at least for nights. Looking forward to your future videos on cloth diapers, especially prefolds. I hope you will make a video on how to properly fold and pin on prefold diapers. Also, a review on plastic pants would be appreciated. Welcome back!

      We have a large plan of multiple cloth options but testing and reviews will take longer than disposable products just based on the added chores. our next video to be done has been in the works for over a month now and still in progress...

      Thanks for all your efforts! Looking forward to seeing your upcoming videos. It's overwhelming all the options out there, not just for cloth diapers, but also the plastic/rubber pants you need to wear over them. I know you'll take the mystery out of cloth diapers. I appreciate you!

    An interesting idea, but they don't wick away wetness and after factoring in detergent, power, and water having to be used and they're only good for "one wetting," then the need to be washed separately. At that price point, it isn't a practical option for me

    • @RealWorldIncontinence
      @RealWorldIncontinence  2 роки тому +1

      Reusables certainly have factors to consider if they are right for each person, I want to be clear for this product some people may only get "one wetting" but certainly depending on how you set up the absorbency MANY will be able to use this more than one wetting, people with heavier voids should take note before purchasing!

    What's your methodology for real world usage?

    • @RealWorldIncontinence
      @RealWorldIncontinence  Рік тому +1

      "Real World Usage" is a real human using the product in their everyday activities over time, Based on their level of incontinence. this case over two weeks almost exclusively, keeping track of how long on each was used and how much fluid was absorbed at each product change, and then averaging over all the changes during use. this along with our Lab testing gives us our overall feedback on the product, it is the balance of two types of testing that gives us our final results.
