1. **Bench More Frequently**: Increasing the frequency of your bench press workouts can lead to better skill acquisition and strength gains⁴.
2. **Perfect Your Technique**: Ensure your bar path is optimal by pressing the bar back and up, not just straight up. This reduces shoulder flexion demand and activates the pecs more effectively².
3. **Use Accessory Exercises**: Incorporate exercises like pause bench, dumbbell floor press, and incline static dumbbell press to work on different aspects of strength¹.
4. **Grip Adjustments**: A wider grip can shorten the range of motion and make the lockout easier, while maintaining a tight upper back².
5. **Progressive Overload**: Gradually increase the weight or reps over time to continuously challenge your muscles³.
6. **Top Sets Before Volume Work**: Add heavy top sets before your volume work once a week to get used to lifting heavier weights and boost confidence².
Remember, consistency and proper form are key to seeing progress in your bench press. Always prioritize safety and consider working with a coach to ensure you're performing exercises correctly. Happy lifting! 💪 #benchpress #chestgains #upyourbench #bustplateaus #increaseyourbench - Спорт

Have you ever used a chamber bench bar? Is the deep stretch hard on the shoulders?
I’ve never used one, but it seems like it would definitely add strength to your bench. You have increased ROM since it’s curved so you’re able to build up strength in a ROM you don’t typically train. The cambered bar would also provide greater activation of the front delt, so if that is a weak point in your bench it would help to improve it. I would probably start light to see how your shoulders feel and then go from there. It’s a great bar to incorporate some isometric holds (3-5secs) at the bottom.
Great video. I got Rep's cambered bar which lets me have bigger range of motion, used that for two months and went back to test bench and it had gone up due to the other being much harder. Can't wait to try pin press do you guys feel it can be used as a triceps exercise too? I last tested my bench 53 years old got 260x3, goal is 300lbs x 5. I might try 315lb push press followed by triceps extensions do a few drop sets like that to beef up weaker triceps! Sounds like I can make both strength and size gains using that lift! Fantastic advice!! I love how you guys don't do 'theory' videos that are long just what WORKS!
I was talking to someone else about the benefits of using the cambered bar to increase strength! Yes, the pin press would definitely build up tricep strength!
@@88FitnessTraining I absolutely love it! My chest was never as sore as the day after using it like benching heavy dumbbells without having to struggle to get into position! What I love more than bench is standing shoulder press have spotter arms and use 80 degree incline bench to lean back against and press. No cheating and heavy weight and can go to failure safely with spotters. I might try it with the narrow grip for your pin press hit triceps maybe even a tad more!
Outstanding thx for sharing I’m going to try that out!!!💪
