Honestly couldn’t stop laughing at the wood chopping, couldn’t help but think of Tom Hanks in Castaway with his ice skate 😂😂 Now subscribed just to see what you get up to next….👊
Just found your channel. I'm all for new UA-camrs so keep up the content and the channel will slowly grow. Don't get discouraged it takes time with UA-cam's algorithms. You seem like a legitimately good person so you have my support
I'm wondering if the trousers were 30% off because someone returned them and they just chose not to tell you. Either that or the trousers were truly defective. But to be defective in multiple spots is very strange. If they weren't used than what could explain multiple failures in stitching other than a quality issue?
I love what you’re doing I do the same in avan I always have an axe large camping knife and sometimes a air pistol You do see the maddest things and theirs lots of sikos about set some early warning systems. I am also ex infantry soldier. Keep it up man 👍🇬🇧😜
Not sure if you were able to drag that big log over to fire but was still funny, what had me in stitches was when you didn't even let the coles smolder just threw the mac n cheese onto the flames haha thanks for the laughs dude you have a new subscriber.
Sack sawing logs build a cranny fire .The use the log as a feeder, put the saw between your feet standing up and pick your branch up,use the weight of the branch to cut it.Keep on it Man
Merry Christmas Simon! I am also a OneTigris fan, and have a lot of their gear. I’m enjoying your videos, and it’s good to see both your successes and failures. Happy new year and looking forward to more of your videos in 2025 👍
Wow! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a struggle with man v wood!! Better saw and better axe next time. Sawing on your thighs and cutting towards yourself is insanely interesting 😂. Tent looked good though 👏👏👏
This is the first time I ran across your channel. It literally made my morning. Keep kicking the shit out of life and winning. Have a great day. We wìll catch up with you in the next one. Oh, and those assholes that were shining that light and disrupting Simon time can all go eat bear scat. Richard and Heather from Arkansas
Great video i bought the geertop version of that tent bungalow tent testing it out on the 11th i ordered the one tegris version also for when i take the kids.happy newyear i just subbed 👍🏻
I dont understand uk humor too much, and i cant tell if youre teasing me with some of your tactics. But good on you brother, keep learning and growing. Welcome to the life.
Great video thanks for sharing. I'd send Fjallraven a message and see if they can help with your defective pair. I agree with the bail too and I know all too well about being in a spot where things just don't feel right. Subbed 🌲🏕️👍🏻
The people were staring probably because they were jealous of your wood cutting technique! 😂 😉 I will make sure I always live by that rule, cut the wood towards yourself, to make it more exciting! Also, can’t wait for the pine tree salve video 🤓
Why did u not just look about and fine something much thinner and managble that that huge thick chunk of tree 😆 that was the most amusing part soon as i seen ur saw and axe i went no way this is happening
I like these types of videos, but it’s annoying when the rustling of their equipment and their feet rustling through the leaves is louder than anything else. There’s one guy I like his videos that he makes from northern Ohio USA, but he drags his feet usually through dried leaves. I can’t watch those videos of his. It is just too annoying.
Yes, this can be annoying. I find some of the sounds in these videos relaxing but when there’s too much noise it’s not ideal. I may invest in a mic at some point but for now the budget is tight 🫣 thanks for the feedback though 👋
OMG for god sake buy decent gear the hacksaw is made to cut metal not wood buy a boreal saw , the toy hatchet is useless buy a decent one like a Small Camp Axe
Totally get what you’re saying-I even mentioned in the video that some of my gear isn’t the best! I’m working with what I’ve got at the moment of filming 👋

The Pentland Hills is always super busy with people because it is so close to the City and easily walkable.

I had to give it a go 😬

In the beginning when you said you didn't know if you wanted to stay, ALWAYS trust your gut. If you're not feeling it, get up and leave.
That’s true. And I’ve got a big gut so it’s easy to listen to 😂
Hi i like the tent the open part let's you see more of the landscape 😎👍
