Love your tutorials. Having just started fishing again after 35 years these tutorials about "modern" techniques that just were not around when I was a kid are priceless. I think I've watched most now! Thank you
Just started fishing again after a break of 40 years, all these new methods and tips are really helpful.been spending most of my time those 40 years swimming with the fish as a scuba diver
Clear, straight forward Information without any chitchat. You guys are really good at what you are doing. I think I get out my carp fishin stuff after years, take my son and give it a try. Thank you!!!
have watched ur main channel for a while and wanted to learn how to tie a new rig so i checked this one out. these making them videos are so good and ive learnt about ten new things in an hour. keep
Brilliant tutorial keep them coming they are very easy to follow nice and clear, great for teaching people who want to progress. Thanks best tutorials I’ve seen so far! Great job lads! 👍🏼🎣
Does anyone else put their lead to one side of the bag? Good little tip as it ensures your bag lands lead side down and have your bait on the other side of the rig. Nick a little hole where your bait is to ensure it comes out neatly and perhaps some stuck mix (powder) around where the hook is to make sure you don’t end up with any small pellet that may get caught on the end of a sharp hook point - it’s unlikely, but better than sat behind your rods with that doubt in your mind. I’m sure we all get that feeling at times 😂🤔 Also in the hope of not undermining anyone, when using stringers, leave a small gap between each bait as otherwise the pva cannot melt resulting in a line of boilies. great video lads - I like to watch your videos as you’re very clear and accurate!! You had a good start though and I find your tutorials are cool. It’d be great if you guys did matches against each other (like curly and Luke do - carpology) Either counting weight or numbers of fish for 24 hours showing us different tactics and rigs - hey, every day is a school day right. Love your content.
Great video, this got me into mesh PVA fishing for the backwaters for barbel, without a doubt I had instant results. It’s not for fast flowing rivers but for what I needed it for, slow flowing back waters under the trees, it worked a treat. Thanks guys. 👍
Great tutorial.. A couple of tips for you with stringers from an old timer... :-) Try and leave a gap between the boilies on the stringer tape.. (especialy in the winter) as it helps the PVA melt.. and you can loop the end of th stinger back round and hook it onto the hook to make for an easer distance cast ... Loving what you guys do... keep em comming :0)
Could u do a vid on how to find spots in lake using maker floats and leads , personally that’s my weakest point in carp fishing and I’m sure a lot more carp anglers too, cheers
Hi mate just an idea but you could possible find ur own clear part of where u are fishing and bait it up before heading there to fish or make a spot clear where u think will be good the new exposed ground will make them explore hopefully
ive bin going to a spot i know for weeks now trying to catch carp, they are always active at night splashing top water Im hoping this might help thank you guys awesome vid
very good and very imformative, i really need to improve my video's so thay get more views, there nowhere near as good as yours, thanks again loving all your video's
@@fishingtutorials I stand corrected haha. Your videos are really helping though mate. Going carp fishing for the 1st time this weekend and watching all your tutorials :D
i've got quick question carl, i've recently started fishing a reservoir and at first I started casting to the far margin without any pva and it was hitting the clip at 21 wraps smoothly. But When ive added pva I simply cannot reach the distances I need to. Why might this be ? some advice would be greatly appreciated. tight lines.
Hey guys. Could you help me out please? I'm just after some advice on the best method/bait to use to target barbel in a med/fast flowing river. Obviously, it gets washed downstream. Is it even worth using pva bags in a river? Thanks.
Hi Lads 😊 A thoroughly enjoyable and informative video as always. I was wondering if you get the time what with your busy schedule ect. Could you please do a tutorial on fishing for Carp from a river? What rigs/baits/line strength ect have worked well for you? The fish I'm targeting have probably never seen a hook before, the river is the upper part of the Thames (Oxford area) Plenty of time as I probably won't be out again at night until the Spring, although I may practice during the daytime if the weather's fine 👍🤗. Many thanks Rich.
We'll try and cover river carping, but to be honest it might be a little while as we have lots of generic videos to work on first. Thanks for the idea though, it's definitely something we'll do!
@@fishingtutorials Thank you for the reply. No rush 😊 plenty of stuff to learn in the meantime 👍👍 Looking forward to your next adventures and tutorials. 🤗
Great video guys ! Just quick question regarding PVA bags, as many venues ban leaders would it be ok just to attach the inline lead to mainline and use some anti tangle sleeve ? Many thanks:)
Not sure but I think Polyvinyl Acetate is something different. I think Acetate is non water soluble, but Polyvinyl Alcohol is water soluble and used in fishing. That’s what I learnt in chemistry at school anyway!
Hi Carl Hi Alex Watched all your videos I just wanted to try get some help and guidance on setting this rig up correctly I’ve got a dark leader core, I’ve got a guru 7.5poz bomb weight or I could buy an in line core shot but what’s best hook side - size 8? It’s just the dark leader core that’s bit confusing as I’ve not got the in line core weight just a guru bomb ledger type thing - I know I should make my own hair rigs but terrible short distance eye sight and I’m terrible at knots so easier for me to buy pre made - I bet if I find any they will be brade I’m also bit confused on clips and sheaths / beads etc Any help or new vid you could possibly do for people tying this rig for first time Thanks ever so much

Can you guys do a video about approaching a new water and finding specific features?
Fantastic fine young man thank you very much
PVA- poly vinyl acetate
Great video though. I'm new to carp fishing so this helped cheers!
Poly vinyl acetate is glue. Poly vinyl alcohol is what is used for fishing. :)

Thanks David!
No worries lads!
Top stuff guys
After all of this I would love for u guys to come an fish my local lake
Not even with me
With what do you fill your pve?
Crushed Boilie or do you put in something else also?
I use pellet a lot!
Great video 🍿🍿🍿
Pva stringers work a lot better if you have separation between the boilies. It allows the pva to melt a lot quicker
An excellent point! Especially in shallow water when you want the boilies to separate fast :)

What’s the larger size boilie that would fit in the long chuck funnel web?
do you need to tie a pop up rig on the hook or does the pop up keep it up
Yeap,useful indeed...thanks
Does PVA bags also is it expensive always work and have you ever been fishing at Broome pits in Bungay if not I recommend it .
I love pva bags
