Bloodborne - How to Defeat Pthumerian Descendant

My (very lucky) run with the Pthumerian Descendant. I think there are 3 variations of this boss, with this one being the strongest. He guards the first layer of the Great Pthumeru Ihyll Chalice Dungeon, and you have to defeat him on your way to Queen Yharnam.
I wield Hunter Pistol +9 and Saw Cleaver +10 with lightning coating from Bolt Paper.
I had the following runes on me:
Clawmark - added damage to Visceal Attacks
Blood Rapture - restoring health from Visceral Attacks
Oedon Writhe - restoring bullets from Visceral Attacks
Beforehand I tried using Lead Elixir, but apparently to no avail, so I've decided to stick to the basic setup and it worked.
The encounter looks easy on the video, but in reality it was nerve-wracking :)

Well you made an absolute nightmare boss look very very easy. I salute you sir.
try dodging forward. if you dodge forward you avoid his attacks more if you arent good at parry. thats what i did to defeat him.
Parry and risposte, parry and risposte, parry and reposte. Oh wait..... did I mention die many times

All videos of this boss is Ihyll. But I met this boss in Pthumeru Central Chalice, in an open circle arena with no pillars. He came at me non-stop. Much harder than this, because of the room you fight in. Still yet to see any videos of that on youtube.
That is exactly how mine is too and it's difficult
The one you say is the first you met, in a depth 2 chalice. This is depth 5.

It's much harder with the pillars because you get stuck while dodging.
You do make good points, and if you are newer I could see people having trouble with Pthumerian Descendant at such a low chalice level, to say that absolutely no one has trouble with this boss as a reason for there not being any videos on UA-cam for this boss, is very ignorant of you. Anyone who is stuck on him, would instantly think that pillars would be better, you are correct that it is harder, as he is more aggressive, and can throw his weapon(s) through the pillars. I find it rude for you to laugh at people who may be having trouble with the game. Instead, you can try giving them tips because you obviously found that boss to be a cakewalk.

Just tried this method, it worked fairly well. It also helps to have a good skill/blood tinge build.
Cóż za głos, toż to miód na moje uszy. ;) Podobnie jak Bloodborne - póki co tylko biernie, bo #pcmasterrace here... Czy właśnie niezbyt 'master' w tym przypadku.

Fajnie że po englishu brzmisz tak samo jak po polsku. Wielu youtuberów jak mówi po angielsku, to używają takich słów i zwrotów których nie używają w swoim języku, wychodzi to dziwnie.
