an absolutely wholesome conversation. Hope you guys know that this is the first time a lot of us are hearing a structured, mature convo about sex, by Kenyans on top of that! and we've been on earth for two decades. mantalk ke is the gift that keeps giving.
wishing yall the best as you keep up the good work
Jules is soo intelligent. I love her
Yees. So intelligent!
When Georgie called Jules Baby! Oh,my heart!!!!! Love to see it!
I heard this & I was like hold up!!
I think I'll have to rewatch now😅😅 which minute was it?
Might she be his baby fr aki...juu he said it effortlessly😍
Which minute? 😂
@@mercymurugi259 lmao, i went back to get this part, lol... at minute 1.01.01... 'on the same baby, before we continue'... 😍😍😍😍 we internet in laws are ready
Everytime I watch Jules talking, I cant help but admire how real and intelligent she is!
I love this episode😊
She's so relatable...kwa ground venye kuko😁😁
And the confidence
Absolutely love the flow. No one is talking over the other, respectful and yet you are 7 whole people.
This is such a RICH conversation. I bumped into Eli a week ago and I will repeat the same thing I told him right here.
I am a mother to one wonderful son and seeing the 3 men on this set and the kind of conversations they have I know there is hope for Boy child!! We see you and we appreciate you.
i see you mami :)
The way Ivy looks at Eli, like a good small brother
I agree with Georgie there is just something about a woman who has her stuff together ,not only finances but also self presentation etc so attractive
Jules and Oscar would make a beautiful couple 💑 😇
Intellectually and in all levels phew 🙏😁
I feel like they would not last though. Jules wears her emotions on her sleeve and Oscar on the other hand seems to love building emotional walls time and time again. Just my opinion😊
My thoughts when I saw them yaani
Truee
False! Based on previous episodes, he sounds like a complex man (or at least tries to act like it) that is looking for a woman that doesn't exist. Good luck to him.
Okay, Ivy's outfit and make-up!🔥🔥
Whoever does her makeup is amazing. I keep staring at her. ❤️
Her shoes are just perfect for the outfit 😮
Oscar gets lost in his conversations sometimes.
Ivy is looking superb 👌...outfit, makeup drop dead gorgeous girl
Also when she gets into this reflective, present & observing mood 😍 Just full of grace🙌🏾
She is sooooooooooooooo beautiful ❤❤
In a conversation with my friends we found out that most of us our first experiences were not overtly consensual. And in those blurred lines were young girls who had never planned to be in those positions in the first place. Leading from Georgie's story, I think its important for ManTalk Ke as the male thought leaders of our time to address this question of non-consensual sex as men, especially first time sex or drunk sex. And to put tyre to the road on what vulnerability REALLY looks like.
How Jules looks at Oscar and How Eli looks at Ivy😄🤭Can't be the only one who noticed this. Especially in the first few minutes
My mum was in the HIV space and she made it her mission to educate us and all her friends/families children. First time she intentionally had the bird and the bees conversation with us was after church. She bundled all my "cousins" to our house and we watched some of the tapes she used to educate communities on HIV. Then after we had a conversation. As time went on she incorporated a session in the teens and youth sessions in church especially during the holidays.
When we got older (campus) she would give my male friends/ neighbour's condoms and make sure they knew her door was open to have a conversation and /or if they needed a restock.
Great job with this episode!!!
This is so fantastic, so powerful to have an adult that you can openly converse and seek answers and learn without judgement.
Wow , this is nice .....
God, I love Georgie! Such a wholesome being.
I literally just said that outloud 🙂
Yes. There's something about him.
Same WhatsApp group. TOO MUCH LOVE FOR THE GENTLEMAN 😉
@@carolinewanjiru3175 there's everything about him!
1:09:02 Ivy Clapping Them Hands For Shiko Like That's My Bestie. Go Bestie.💛
This Was Heavily Loaded And Very Informative. Thank You All.🎉
'Successful people smell nice.' My high school teacher used to say.
I can relate to Georgie talking about smell in between conversations.
The "Nimechill" advert was my first experience of knowing that abstinence was cool. If not for that advert i probably would have had sex too soon. Mainstream media is very influential especially on young adults and teens. I'm glad i abstained. This is a great podcast and i hope we can see more of Mantalk and Over25
Can we please have part 2😭. Great minds. The conversation was gold. I enjoyed every second of the podcast
That moment when Jules explained having to strategically place the condoms (under pillows) so they are within reach, and Oscar laughing deeply is 'television gold'. 🤣 I almost fell off my seat. Like surely, why are we doing all these acrobatics as if safety isn't a priority for all involved?
A much needed conversation. Not just for Kenya but also a lot of African societies where talking about sex is taboo or frowned upon. Y'all are doing the Lord's work.
I love Ivy so much. She's smart, strong, focused, driven. Aaah !
NOW THIS IS A PODCAST. Informative, respectful, and we'll leveled voices.
Jules is a beautiful and real soul!
As Lorelai said, "A guy having money is like a girl being pretty. You might not marry a girl just because she's pretty, but it sure does help!"
I miss Gilmore gals
@@marylineachiengoduor5920 I think she's referring to Marilyn Monroe's quote in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes😁
Every time i always want to say this but i find it hard comment but today i had to say that Jules is absolutely beautiful...like damn...if i ever meet you I'll tell it to you on your face because damn aren't you beautiful!
Yea, I was also staring at her like damn!!! 😍😍😍Kwanza as oscar was speaking... Was even wondering in my head, "how is this babe single???"
@@carol76798 I knoooow.... combine the beauty and the words that come from her mouth... I'm obsessed...i wanna be Jules when i grow up🤗😂...wisdom and beauty...deadly combination
💯
Beauty and wisdom is top notch 🔥🔥🔥🔥
You know its gonna be lit when you have Georgie, mantalk and over 25 together. Thank you for the great conversation guys.
And yes yes yes women are supposed to be chosen. We are chosen! That’s the normal way. We only get to choose after we’ve been chosen. We don’t get to choose first and we shouldn’t really. A man will choose you as a woman and then you decide whether you’ll accept him that’s where women get to choose.
Do you have a podcast or UA-cam channel?,I'm a fan of yours already!
They're aren't many women who follow God's natural law. And it's hare to find such a tribe of women with a conservative value system.
At 16:40 I like how they all agree with Eli in unison Yeeeaaaahh like as if they're in a choir ,he must have hit the nail on the head
Imagine what the outcome would be when Man Talk Ke and Over 25 decide to drop an Urban Tv Show.
There is something in my gut...a big gut feeeeeeeeeeeeling that Jules and Georgie can make a perfect couple...Too bad relationships are not formed on my gut feeling. But Georgie pleaseeee try something with Jules...shoot your shot...There is something good here..#loveyouall.
I’d love another episode where all of you are together,I loved this one too
Jules' IQ is polished and it effortlessly shows....She got the 'Ooh wow' perspectives
I love Ivy’s outfit😻
You guys are just a vibe, we need more of this all of you..
Loved this conversation and the openness of it all. We need more of these happening
Its definitely true that gen z doesnt fear HIV... the conversation definitely needs to be aired early enough.
Georgie and Jules please😏
Possibly one of the best episodes. You guys should have more episodes together. Always wholesome...and the humor is on point as well.👍💯
As Gen z, yes i don't relate with those sites but this was such an eye opening and triggering conversation.
This was such an insightful conversation. The goal for my channel, is to be as bold in my truth as y'all are❤️. Loved the episode. As a Marketing major, I like how you managed to push the brand without being so much 'in the audience's face'. Y'all are such good vibes. Synergy on 💯. Manifesting this for my channel 🕯️🕯️🕯️. Y'all are dope ❤️
Waah! Jules, your wisdom knows no bound.❤
The sound is good. I appreciate that.
Would love another episode of all of you again but this time add Bien aimé too🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much team for this information,i would love to hear more of this. I wish it was possible to subscribe twice. Anyway i have the notification bell on.
ABSOLUTELY the conversations we need to have.
This was such An amazing conversation…thank you so much for sharing .
I loved every bit of it..such beautiful minds!👏👏👏
What a great conversation, and I love the conversations in the comments section too! Thank you for the duty of care to the next generation on safe sex education. I hope it is taken up with more tenacity , and on more platforms because we just need to village-in the next generation too.
Love the episode and the balanced discussion.
Please work on the sound
Had this discussion on the background while doing some work and I'm sure as h** going to watch it again with much needed attention. It's broad and so insightful.
This conversation was great. Clarifies so many misconceptions about sex and intimacy. When Ivy mentioned about types of initimacy i quickly related
I can listen to Georgie Ndirangu all day
The way Ivy is looking at Eli!!!!
I love this team! I enjoyed the conversation. Very Educative!!
Bravo! Now, this priceless information that every young person needs to hear. Growing, I honestly never got a chance to know all this. It was all self discovery and googling! I can relate with most of the panelists' experience. Good job ladies and gentlemen!
Just Ivy is just beautiful!
My favorite people in one set. I love you guys so much.
💙 💙 💙 Now, men need to understand that sex is something you do with a woman. Not to a woman... That's where the problem begins...
Also, not all people love sex. When we understand this, we shall explore other forms of intimacy in our romantic relationships...
Women have been shamed for having sex for so long. It's like we are not supposed to have or want sex...
Im happy for such conversations. They are opening doors to sexual freedom and safe sex.
Love the topic.I think they are all thinking through every word they say.
This is my favourite episode this season...kudos guys
Love love this amazing episode and alot of learning aswell 👏
Daamn, this was a deep dive kinda conversation, the authenticity and vulnerability in it is just incredible. Good job ManTalk
Jules is just super beautiful 💖
Did Georgie just call Jules baby at 1:00:58. It sounded so niiice
Me returning just to hear it😂
Awwwww yessss 🥰🥰
Didn’t sound like a friendly baby. It would be odd if it was. I’m hoping it’s a romantic baby😊.
👀
@@africanqueen9567 I really hope it's a romantic baby too.
Wow. The flow of this conversation is everything to me.
I thought it might be noisy because of the number but I was exclusively disapproved.
Great Minds. Definitely thirsty for more from the three 🥂
This is such a crucial conversation. There really are no condom ads like there used to be as Lornzie pointed out. It feels like the concern amongst Gen Z is only pregnancy because most of them don't want kids, and even so they are more open to abortion than previous generations. So there's a lot of recklessness that needs to be addressed.
Wow GREAT Conversation, am learning new perspectives.
Great and timely conversation!
This was such an insightful and intimate conversation. Youthful spaces give a chance to openly talk about sex, however, having such talks with kids and teenagers at their level is something that parents and adults also need to learn. Otherwise, this conversation made me know the things I never knew I didn't know.
Love.
Very good discussion ! I enjoyed every bit !
I looooooooove this conversations so much am addicted all of you soo wise sooo deep soo deep so informative witty ily all please do this more and more have this comnined podcasts weekly sooo cute
This conversation had so many gems! Not just sexual performance, interests in relationships, how relationships have evolved, intimacy versus intercourse, financial situations for both men and women. I loved this! I am so curious do men become more attracted to women who have higher financial status as they get older?
My experience has been so different, I have heard men want to feel needed and for us independent women( financially) I find there’s a struggle to signify that need. Simply because we can do/provide for ourselves and do so often.
T4m
The answer is in the question. Men are conditioned to provide and protect and women want to feel secure in the relationship. Jules alluded to this when she spoke about the pregnancy and postpartum period. So no, men would not ordinarily put themselves in a situation where they are the underdog.
Finally!!!
Been waiting all week Gaddamn!
I'm still stuck there at Mamunjumunju....I like it! This talk should have happened during my teenage!
Brilliance.
The question abt the coloration between money and sex depends on where you are in your journey.
I love George ugh😍
Good job guys! Important conversation
Was very insightful wa shld have more of this conversation and have normality in them
My God ..I love Georgie😊Anyway lots of love from UG🇺🇬
This is great and authentic
I've got to say, Eli's meticulous and articulate nature to subjects is goals. I enjoy Georgie's wit and perspectives I literally follow him everywhere to see what he's got in mind. P.S Just on media platforms 😊
I have waited for this episode aki
Thank you for this all participating performers hehehe. Enjoyed and learnt alot. Love from UG 🇺🇬.
That was actually fun and so educative.
Middle of ma-munju munju...loved this episode🤍
I think for me as a Healthcare professional, I think that we have a heavy duty to be educating everyone who rolls through the hospitals or clinical setting about sex and how to protect themselves.
Great combo of people..lol❤️ ... wisdom overflowing 🔥🔥👌
Before having the knowledge on it...the responsibility is everyone's to teach on the safety precautions to take during sex including using a condom...(starting from parents...older siblings...schools...churches... government...)but immediately you have the information and are old enough to apply it...the responsibility is YOUR'S!!!❤️
Good points @ min 42:09 - 44:00min. Well said. Emphasize more on that.
Thank you for this I am a young lady and ohh my I have taken so much for you.
Yeeeey🥳🥳🥳my favorite content creators
Great conversation.
I believe it should be a mandatory course taught in schools...I live in the States, and here we were taught in 11th grade which is equivalent to form 3. This was about over 16yrs ago when I was in high school. Although, I believe they have changed the curriculum and begin touching on the subject a little sooner now, I believe 7 or 8th grade as kids have begun to be curious early. (It might not be as deep in depth as they do in 11th grade)
I worked with children as a swim coach and the stories I would hear were bonkers! I mean we are talking 11- 16yrs of age.
The Ministry of Education has a responsibility to educate and parents need to follow up and have the conversations early.
I'm a Mom of Two both boy and girl and I promise myself to make sure I have these conversations with them. (My parents didn't) I was just told "don't get pregnant and don't get AIDS!" I am with shikii I may not know how, but I'll make sure to find out how.
I learnt soo much from Ivy and Shikii's episode with the child psychologist...
I would request that they continue with the Issamotherhood platform and continue with that informative content. Oh how I miss it. I think that's what it was called.
It's both the male's and female's responsibility, thank you for the wonderful episode
Kudos to you guys! Thank you for gracing our screens. This was super educative 💪
Jules is so smart!
Without moving forward with Eli's question at around 34/40 min the judgements come from both EQUALLY!!
I have been waiting all week....damn
Mamunju munju 😂😂😂😂 Man I've laughed so hard. Wah! Jules now like I feel really old. This conversation is needed especially with this young generation. I loved how you guys did it.
Progression is potential with action.
