252km/h / 157.5mph indicated - not too bad for the old girl! 😄 Honda VFR 800 2006 - Sixth Generation Snorkel mod, K&N air filter and Leovince SBK slipon
250 on a bike with a fairing is about when it starts to be interesting. But you need 280+ to really get the juices flowing! It’s a good bike for what it is. But I never really fell in love with it like I have with other bikes. I’ve moved on since this video was done and don’t have a VFR anymore and never will again.
You need a power commander. I just hit 160mph with intense winds. Fastest I’ve hit was 184 indicated with perfect wind conditions. Pc3, muffler delete, cat delete, o2 delete, airbox mod, stock gearing.
To go from 157mph to 184mph You need over 30hp for the same conditions. No mods to the VFR will do that except a turbo. Do you have any vids of your run?
I managed 250 kph on my stock 2001 VFR. Ideal conditions, cool morning, no headwind. It was shocking afterwards how slow 100 kph felt!
