  • I could not wait to try this foundation out! The Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation is such an iconic foundation; one that I'm not the biggest fan of, but I can definitely see why people like and its undoubtably iconic. This sister foundation is meant to be equally as long wearing but without such a harsh matte finish which in my world would be ideal as that is my one and only criticism for the original. It was a tough day to film, I've been going through stuff mentally lately and in the video I had a little cry - I didn't want to dismiss it completly as I know so many of you will relate to that part of the video but I don't come on the channel to cry my eyes out when testing out a foundation, so I cropped me crying out and I explained what I was feeling in that moment. For the most part that has got nothing to do with the foundation as SPOILER it's pretty good. BUT - the price. The price is so high! Due to the lack of the pump provided (you can buy one and help Estee Lauder make even more money) I feel like I ended up using a lot of the foundation. The finish and long wear is good, but it reminds me so much of my favourite (I know I always say this, but it's honestly THAT good) L'Oréal Fresh Wear foundation which is fraction of the price. You could more or less buy three of the L'Oréal for the price of one Estee Lauder. In conclusion, I don't think you'll be disappointed when buying this foundation but since it has a drugstore alternative - I will not be recommending it. As always thank you so much for watching. You guys support me so much and I cannot thank you enough. Seeing you come back time and time again, talk to me in the comments brings a smile to my face. Thank you for being here; you're the best.xox

Hello Karolina 👋 We are our own worst critics sometimes, aren’t we?
I’ve been really enjoying your foundation reviews this year and with every video of yours the first thought that came to my mind was “wow, her skin looks so good!”
Your skin is real and it’s only doing its natural and honest thing. Trust me, you’re the only one who brings a mirror close to your face and looks for imperfections, while we all just see a beautiful confident young woman. So, please, don’t overthink it! Embrace, continue taking care of it and enjoy 💛

Sometimes we just need to let it out. My honest, genuine response would be that I'd never have even noticed the "lines: if you hadn't pointed them out and they're definitely not anything to be upset about. And yet... this is exactly the kind of thing I'd get upset about myself. Why are we so hard on ourselves Sometimes?
For me, i find it hard thinking I've spent a fortune over two decades on acne skincare, i can't say I've ever got a longterm grip on that problem then all of a sudden antiaging was thrown into the mix as well. I felt like it was really unfair to have both "problems" at the same time.

This is me exactly. I just got happy with my skin, as having five small spots in comparison to what it was like is a success. Now I'm getting dry/slightly painful due to the dryness patches on my skin, my lines are getting deeper and I just am not mentally prepared to go through something similar as to what finding the skincare that worked for my acne again. This was also a slight trigger, I've had a tough day and I've had a couple of those recently so as I've mentioned - it wasn't the foundations fault but it triggered the tears🤣 thanks for writing this message, it's actually comforting knowing people are going through the same thing😘♥️ you're the best Sarah♥️

@@KWKosta I've recently bought The Ordinary's "Tiktok duo" off beauty bay for fine lines. Not used enough yet to recommend to anyone but might be worth looking into.

No one would see "that line" because firstly, it is not obvious at all, secondly, lines don't define whether you are beautiful or not, confidence does, you have that. Actually, look at famous people, many of them look better when they're little older than younger. Additionally, people younger than you also have lines but they use filters on social media. Also, lack of sleep and unfitting makeup can have ( temporary) drying effect on skin so it enhances, otherwise invisible but normal and human, skin texture. Try drinking teas, rooibos is great for skin. Also, dont use harsh cosmetics and makeup, regardless of having oilier skin, as mentioned above, prolonged usage can have permanent effect. Be gentle and rule no1: less is more and as simple as possible! Cosmetics cannot do much or repair damages from unhealthy lifestyle ( food, sleep, stress, genetics), so be careful. Treating one thing can ends up damaging the other. Your body has its own protecting system, cosmetics should only do little help.

Estee Lauder do allow testing on animals. Using this company products support animal testing.

Another good reason to not buy it then - for me it was the price mostly but I'm glad you've mentioned this as it might help others to make the right decision and not buy it either.♥️
