Bro that thing is stuck like a mother,you make it sound so easy,any advice if it's hard to get off?

Mines stuck as can be too. Gonna try a chisel and hammer
So do I turn it Counter clock wise or clock wise? You said to tune it counter clockwise and then said you turned it clockwise to get it out?
I believe the retaining ring and the pump both come out counterclockwise
I tried same anticlockwise and vice versa nothing happened, gonna change it when next I'm low on fuel.. When the pump is covered in gas it's slippery to turn
What’s the difference with the B6 etc ?
I think its a pretty similar if not identical job.

The bracket at the bottom of the tank that the fuel pump assembly clocks into?

The plastic large cap nut must get torqued to 60 Newton meters. The special tool is needed to do that. The tool is about $25. Also, you should not reach into the fuel tank with your hand. Fuel is toxic. There is an inexpensive long arm tool for removing and installing the pump. Otherwise, great video. Thank you.
