Life is hard. I struggle with weight and maintaining any kind of consistency with eating healthy and exercising regularly. The struggle is real. Thank you for your honesty. Hoping you can find your love for movement again. I’m trying to embrace more walks especially as Fall approaches and the weather and leaves are so beautiful. I am so happy to see that you do include a lot of healthy foods in your diet. It inspires me to do the same. We are all in it together.

Hi Lauren I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your honest and very inspirational vlogs,I'm a 63 year old mum and nan who has suffered with extreme bullying from my family and work colleagues,this left me living in fear and with high anxiety,I have the critical voice in my head and do my best ,but watching you has picked me up today ,I didn't feel so alone ❤ A good recommendation for sleep is a channel called get sleepy which are bedtime stories (if you like that kinda thing )😊I'm still wondering where that spider has gone 😮

Same here, every time I skip my daily exercise ( I do 20minuts) I feel low, I can really tell the difference in my mood x

Yourself and also makes you feel/ look more like you or how you want to for yourself! It’s neither bad or good if that makes sense it’s such a personal journey and nothing you have to justify to anyone! ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lauren, I too can eadilly lock myself in the house for days. I live on my own and probably spend too much time on my own apart from going to work, I find dealing with colleagues difficult at times 🤕. New sunsctiber 🌼

I really do resonate. I’m 47 and only just started to unpack decades of toxic diet culture and at same time I know I need to lose weight for health reasons but how to do it with slow and present kindness, moving for joy, eating for pleasure, embracing all foods - it’s so difficult. Trapped between two ideologies. I just figure it all takes time and healing the mind and then the body is how to approach it all. Radical self love being plus size too is so hard. You’re doing amazing. Sending lots of love to you ❤

Lynn here on Hubby's phone mines playing up 😏, I swear to God Lauren you have my brain , my mind works exactly like you , fact is we really over think things in a big way , I refused to take medication, now I'm wishing I'd had it , but last time. I did I was worse , walking round like a bloody zombie I was 😢, sorry Lauren , I making this about me arent I 😂, I wake up in a morning and I know when my Anxiety is high and know Im in for a crap Day Do you get that ? I know exactly how u feel, when u were sitting in ur car trying to talk yourself into/out of going to the gym. That is something I do every day with many decisions. Normally, I know what I SHOULD do, but I often I talk myself out of it.
I just found ur channel yesterday(or rather, ur channel found me… gotta love that algorithm).
I love hearing about ur life, as I have a lot of the same struggles u have.

The next time you are thinking of going to the gym remember how you feel after. For me its distance walking. It just turns my mood around and how I deal with anxiety. I did over 6 miles twice this past week. Nothing compares for me! xoxo
I am grateful that you are posting although I havent watched you in quite a while. Im going through a sort of life revolution at the moment...moved from England with my son and I am trying to sort my life out really and lift the sadness and negative talk.
My plan is minimal.
1hr walk per day.
Prayer (its important to me)
Less carbs
I am coincidentally also unemployed and at a shocking weight which I havent been able to shift since giving birth 6yrs ago.
Hearing you talk helps me not feel so alone but I would like you to know that you have a spark in you which attracted me to watching your vlogs years ago. I am confident you will turn a corner and like me you will find just about enough strength to walk and breathe. Much love, Anna x
Love you Lauren. I know how hard it is to deal with weight and diet culture. It’s seems impossible to find what works for you. At 50 I finally decided to get vsg. It has helped me start a journey that has me healing my issues with food and life. I hope you find what works for you. Its not about the pounds it’s how you feel. I don’t need to be thin to be happy. Just needed some of the weight off to feel better.
The spider and your reaction to the kid screaming in next (lower case) had me 😂 and who knew you could violin!! That’s a party trick and a half whipping that bad boy out - gutted you cut pachelbels canon short it’s one of my favourites! Awesome to see you happy!

Thank you for sharing Lauren! I could tell that you didn't really feel up to it in some of these clips at the beginning, but you are talking about things that I also go through. The way I am often body checking, shaming, guilting... the feeling like I have let myself go, the constant noise in my head. It's no wonder we are sad and tired!

SUPERSTAR! ✨ I’ve gotten back into swimming postpartum and I forgot how much joy I find in just moving my body with my tiddlywinks. I’ve been struggling with joyful movement and this is by far my favourite. Also reflecting and taking notice of negative self talk is such a relatable thing. Sending self love and positive vibes 💜

Lauren, I’m a new subscriber. I’m home sick with the flu so I watched many of your videos starting from the beginning. I beg you, STOP. Stop running away from yourself. I could make a long list of all your great qualities but you already know what they are. The problem is that you don’t internalize them. It’s as if your brain is not attached to your soul nor your physical body. Stop and let yourself reconnect all the parts of you. You are whole, you are human and you are wonderful.

If it makes you feel any better, you can still use "focussing". It was just phased out for "focusing" for a more modern, simple English language. I'm an old bird, so I still spell focussed n focussing with two S's, as I think one S just looks weird n could be pronounced weirdly. See, old dog with no new tricks Xx
