Give Serkis an Oscar already. He makes most actors look lazy.
The reason why he hasnt got one already even for rise and the LOTR saga is because its all mo capped this debate has been around a while but i definitely think he deserves it
Mark McLoughlin Ya, no kidding. A great performance is a great performance, mo-capped or not. Just look at other awesome performances done that way, like Vaas from Far Cry 3.
exactly, some of the best performances come from mo-capped acting yet they are deemed unsuitable for awards due to not actually performing because of green screen something needs to be done
Mark McLoughlin lol green screen has nothing to do with mo-cap
Toby Kebell was better.
The actor who played Koba did an amazing job. Watching him do that last scene I was scared lol.
His name is Toby btw I want you to know
Toby Kebbell, really good mo cap actor, hes in warcraft
He also acted in kong skull Island
He is also great in Rock N Rolla
My favorite character in the series. He's so sad but also terrifying
The horses must be thinking "WTF???"
Hopefully the horses didnt get any ideas from this movie..... HORSES....TOGETHER.... STRONG...
+Conkers Squirrel Rise of the planet of the little ponies.
Joydeep S no only the horses the Mexicans to!!!
Rise of the Planet of the Horses
Joydeep S I
I wanna rewatch the whole movie like this
Yo también. Espero que salga en la edición especial.
planet of the grey spandex people part 2
i just watch last night OMG ,so amazing their are all good in acting,GOd Bless them..
@@johnsmath62 I think you mean dawn of the grey spandex people
Julian Harris I would pay to see Dawn of the Grey Spandex People.
That last scene with koba was incredible acting
This Tobby Kebbell dude is really into the character.. he's awesome.
you said it. I think toby kebbel's a great actor.
@@OfficerFriendly2006 That is how Toby become the next King Kong...might be even new Smeagol.
I like Andy Serkis, and also Tobby Kebbell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
crazy how much effort he actors and crew put into this.. not all cgi and shit! AWESOME!
astrocutie3 I love all the set pieces and locations. It's so authentic! This is what real film making is! CGi is merely a tool for which to tell a good story. Dawn does this perfectly!
Everyone talks about Andy Serkis, and while he is definitely a great actor. I think the guy playing Koba is a fenomenal actor aswell. His screams are intimidating and kind off reminds me of Darth Maul.
1:29 - I love how deep his voice is when Andy Serkis says his name "Caesar"
I wouldn't be able to act along side them, I would laugh every time I look round!
Then you aren't proffesional lol
You first need to get into character, convince yourself that these people ARE apes. If you think of them as people acting as apes, you would talk like that to them and hence you would laugh.
I maybe could
i wouldn’t laugh i think it’s dope as hell
god damn, what would we do without andy serkis
Swear to god those horses are like what the fuck is goin on
I love the motion actors for the apes, especially that of Andy Serkis and the actor of Koba. All of them nailed it.
i love how awkward the filming process actually is, how amateruish it all looks until you patch the pieces together and polish it.
I watch this and i'm like "hey, i could probably do that!"
then i watch the actual movie and it's "yeaaah, no i can't."
Man.. I can't wait for Kingdom of The Planet of The Apes
For real.
What’d you think bout it
just watched it. best movie!
I agree ! Great movie
I'm so addicted to all these movies.. have watched them over and over and talk about my kids.. the love watching too..
This is amazing. The hard work and effort that goes into movies is incredible. There is no music to get the actors in the mood, many people are watching on the set and they still manage to do this.
Wow six years + since this came out I remember going to the cinema like it was the other day.
I'm sorry, but this is absolutely amazing.
I can't imagine keeping a straight face as the ape actors.
this is just one of best movies this summer. a must watch movie
Kobas actor is so good!
such a great movie!! definitely going to buy this on bluray when it releases
I agree
Fuck off
It is astonishing to me that they don't all crack up laughing. Great professionals!
Brilliant movie - the things a summer blockbuster used to be, no new metal soundtrack, no teen angst. Just great storytelling and action, Andy Serkis is barnstorming in it!
Omygoodness, the guys in the suits are BRILLIANT ACTORS TT^TT
France Magadia thanks am one of them,
hzuniga sonora No, no youre not
cool how now they can do mo-cap without the giant green screen/artificial playground and can actually go into the real-world to film. really enhances the realism and opens up a lot of different possibilities. i'm sure it also helps the actors as well
afaik they could do it way before already. some movie studios are just lazy to make or go to real sets that's why they resort to green/blue screens
That is Awesome, I just watched this movie it's amazing how much work goes into this.
I can’t believe how focused they are on the acting. If I were them I would be staring at the camera or whatever the hell that was in front of their face
I love it when he shouts "Caesar", that was great acting from Toby Kebbell.
Funny, I could tell that was Koba by his stance and facial expression, amazing
I want to see the whole movie like this i fell like they would earn a lot of money if they put it on Netflix :D
I thkught Godzilla was the best film of the summer on my list until i saw "Dawn" best movie of the summer!
Love Toby Kebbell in the end part. Watched the film & spotted it was him straight away great actor. Love a couple of things he's done like RocknRolla & Black Mirror :))
Without the CGI, this looks fucking ridiculous. xD
Bruh guy who played Koba did rlly good too!!!
KOBA OWNED THIS MOVIE
Til Caesar owned him :P
CaviarBlu i thinks he means in the terms of acting, tobby kebbel is more into the character
wadde faq I beg to differ. They both have completely different characters as apes. Just because one is more aggressive and open with his emotions doesn't mean that that actor is necessarily more in character. The movie wouldn't be possible without Serkis. However, the guy who plays Koba is also incredibly talented and if they didn't have name tags on them you could tell that was Koba right away
Koba is piece of shit
okay that's a little funny to see without cgi
My god.... How amazing these actors are
Brilliant action movie from a classic franchise, Clark and Andy and the actors who played the apes were fantastic
always interesting to see how they make such iconic, great movies
Great Film!
Great Cast
5:18 ... Badass scene.
¡¡¡CAESAAAAAR!!!
Must suck to act out a whole movie , then when you watch it no one can even tell what ape u played lol. Still looks so fun to experience
Jist like avatar, this howthey made it too
The man that plays koba!?? KILLLED THE “wheres ceasar!??? WHATS CEASAR!? CEEAASSAAARR”
just watched it....really good movie! can't wait for the next one :D
this is so cool I love this movie
Bella Keating same
i am loving the creativity here great great work whole team this is amazing
Just watch this movie come back from the cinema few minutes age. Best movie ever!
ABSOLUTELY FKING AAAAAAHHHMAZING💗💗🌸🌸💗💗🌸🌸
What y’all should have done was show this behind the scenes and than show the same scene with how it looked inn the movie
Fantastic, 👏🏾👌🏾when it all comes together..More!!!! ❤❤
I love how you put the behind the seanes
If I was an extra in that movie I'd be laughing my head off.
I like the movie very much saw it yesterday
The fact all of this is real is so crazy . No green screen no mats it’s all woods and real horses😭
Andy serkis was excellent , but what about toby kebbell. It was awesome, right?
I had no clue they did this film with real horses and environment👏
Incredible movie. I hope next film shows the distant future and ape civilization and human enslavement too like the earlier remakes
Amazing movie. And every mo-cap film Andy Serkis makes that he doesn't get an award for, he is being robbed.
I love this movie
I cried when watching it I didn't care if there where real or not lol
Cant wait to get the blu ray this movie is great
I watched the movies and this is really cool!
i saw the movie yesterday very excellent
Excellent movie's, can't wait for the new, PLANET OF THE APES
😷🌍✌💖😷
Andy serkis is a unique and talented actor
This is so cool
5:16 When our best friend gets crushed under a cross shaped rock when fighting an aztec vampire with wind powers
amazing
you should see the one for the new Jurassic Park movie when the guys were doing the Raptors... LMFAO that shit was hilarious !!!
the movie was awesome!!
Amazing
Those horses are gorgeous! But I swear their heads were CGI'd a little in the actual film....not sure why...perhaps to get the proper horse response and such. BTW, how did Koba get his horse to jump through fire? I'm sure a horse's instincts would tell it to run FROm fire!
barbaro267 CGI Fire? Lol.
Courtey Jones CGI fire doesn't exist outside of the "computer" part of CGI. I'm talking about believability of the horse acting like a REAL horse.
barbaro267 Maybe the crew blocked the road with obstacles, so that the horses could jump over em, than the Special Effects guys could add CGI fire into the scene, to give the effect that the horses were leaping over fire. Lol.
5:15 Franchement là le gars, il est vraiment dans le rôle de Koba !
Marvelous
How is this movie cgi everything looks so real
i seriously was questioning my sanity. they looked so real at some points i was wondering if they used real apes for certain scenes
Very cool and interesting i love it whatching it now
Funny how the camp seen at around 1:20 was not actually in the movie. I guess it will be an extended scenes.
Geniuses.
Awesome footage. Can't wait until Jurassic World behind the scenes. Mother of God...
Do you know who the Mother of God is?
Super movie
I love u all that make some people to forgot there sorrows by giving them d things they have to experience
Mind absolutely blown when I found out Tobey Kebbell played Koba🤯🤯🤯
awesome. I'm sure they all went to ape school 101.
came here because of honest trailers
Dang they did do their own voices...
1:14 I think that was taken out the final version.
I bet the horses are like... o.o why are the dressed liked that... I'm scared...😧
Hope this movie is 2 hours or more..
I'm indian .....super acting and direction
I love acting and all and would like to be an actress one day but this would make me laugh no cap
So how do they learn how to walk like that. Wow
Koba was just too cold
keren broo
How'd they hold their laugh?
Wow
Really nice.(y)
