I am in this film. I played one of the villagers. The village scenes were shot in Portloe in Cornwall. Had a great time. Eddie Griffon had the cast and crew in stitches, he was really funny during rehearsals. PITY THE FIM WAS A DOG.
I just watched this yesterday, actually only half of it and I really liked it. I agree wow Anna Friel did a fantastic job. The end scene of her trying to get him to stay was great.
The wedding scene was filmed at Stithians in cornwall. My son went to the school right next to it. My husband stood outside and watched Anna go into the church, he said she's much more beautiful in real life.
I just watched this all the way through on Prime Video-- surprisingly good and cute movie. Eddie Griffin and Anna Friel were especially great. It deserves more attention than it gets.

Endymoin7Ra, actually, no - it was NEVER released theatrically anywhere in the world. It did have its DVD premier in the US not on St. Patrick's Day, which in March 17th, but on the 14th, which is not. It was also released in Serbia, April 3rd 2007. I know all this because I wrote Irish Jam and then the "director rewrote 70% of the script and turned it into !@#$%.
