5:25 " Normally it's quite easy for you to, or for me at least, take off the character, go home and try to be... the daddy I am " OMG GOODBYE. I'M DEAD.
He is very sharp, a quick thinker, quite possibly the most precise english speaker among the european actors. im starting to wondering how could he even be possible to own everything: beauty, talent and wisdom. God, i love him.
Mads is such a typical Dane, haha! I love him, seriously. He's super chill, acts like a completely normal person and isn't stuck up at all. He just seems happy to be able to do what he loves for a living and I think that that's incredibly inspiring :')
The moment I saw Mr Mads Mikkelsen in the kitchen in "Hannibal" I figured that he was going for presenting the character in the aesthetic light and portray him as someone who adds an ethical value to the act of eating another human being. Mr Mikkelsen did the most amazing job in opening the scary psychological world of this notorious criminal. I stand in awe and truly appreciate how he made me understand Hannibal because I am doing my masters thesis in serial criminals. I am looking forward to watching him in "The Hunt". P.S. - Funny thing is that I was always eating some kind of meat while watching the show :)
I never thought I would like the show as much as I have... Mikkelsen is doing something so unique with it, and I love his take-- the fallen angel. Hopkins will always be 'the king' but I do like this re-imagining.
MADS AND HOPKINGS FOR ME, ARE IN THE SAME AND BRILLIANT LEVEL ON THIS ROLE OF HANNIBAL. THEY ARE BOTH AMAZING ACTORS¡¡¡¡ NOT A UNIQUE KING, THEY ARE UNIQUES IN HER PERFORMANCE OF THE CHARACTER
This is my first opportunity watching Hannibal and everyone is outstanding. Thank you very much for this interview. English is tough as a second language and Mads is amazing with it. Very quick and very fluent. I wish this man all the best.
MADS!!!! The live chat was awesome. He's such a nice guy, would love to have a beer with him and chat about anything. Wish more questions would have been picked out but considering how short it was I guess we couldnt ask for more. Thanks for doing this :)
Mads takes the roll has Hannibal and makes it his own. I think the roll of Hannibal was made for Mads, and he makes the show Incredible and unique in his own ways. I love Mads and his one of my favorite actors in the whole world. And one I think his accent is very sexy and Mads shouldn’t be ashamed of it.
Happy Birthday, Mads! Wishing you all the best and looking forward to season 2. Your acting is superb. No one will ever play Hannibal as well as you. Will you sign on for a 3rd season if the network continues the series?
R U kidding me Mads ? If you`de walk down the street and I have no Idea who you are- I would stop you. Just to tell you how gorgeous you are! :) I bet he gets so many ofers from ladies (and gay men) It`s crazy!
The Hunt was hard to watch. If (spoilers here on) they clarified who killed the dog, I would probably have felt better, knowing who to villainize. However, there was no clear answer, and it was a lot harder to get through it that way. In the end, you're left with all these emotions and a knot in your stomach the size of your fist over the injustice presented in this film. Klara's the only one I could put any blame on, but she's a child. Though I found it hard to believe a simple correction could push her to make such a wild accusation, and then set it up very calculating for someone her age. I kept expecting some kind of revelation to put doubt in these accusations, but his guilt only seemed to solidify. I get the parents refusing to believe anything else, but Klara flip-flopping her story throughout the movie and no one paying notice irritated me. And then I wanted to smack the parents for not listening, moreover encouraging her to say it happened, but then I understand their position and feel stuck again, not having a character to put my anger on. It's very rough to get through and I kind of wish I didn't watch it. I kept expecting some sort of release or outlet for my emotions, or for Lucas to finally snap (and I almost expected him to suddenly become Hannibal lol, what a twist that would have been!), but despite Mad's performance, it just wasn't worth it for me. Aside from the dog, the scene in the market was the most gut-wrenching and I kept yelling at the screen. I would have liked to see /someone/ come to his defense, because they may believe what they believe, but they had no right to do what they did. I had to watch it through my tears and my anger, and then suddenly it's a year later. The only saving grace for me was he wasn't killed, like I expected. I get the movie's intent. I understand the horrifying, realistic message it sends. But I don't watch movies for the cold, hard truth of reality.
+Kenneth Hansen Being all "God forbid you learn something" and again, with this "be careful not to learn." Unless something is being lost in translation here, you're being rude.
I hope this is where questions for Mads go... Here is mine: First, Happy (early) Birthday Mads :) I just wanted to ask you how you are enjoying working on Hannibal Season 2? I'm watching Rejseholdet Season 2 now during the #HetAteUs and I'm really enjoying the show. La Cour reminds me a little of Will but I don't think Fischer is out to get him :) I loved you in The Hunt. Best of luck to you and the film come Oscar season. You are already a winner in book! Peace, Love & Happiness, Vikki
Gonna have 2 pictures taken with Mads on sunday 3rd of June, in Birmingham!!! Can't wait but I bet he will be intimidating as it will be like being next to Hannibal!!!
Franz Kafka was a German language author who specialized in stories about unjust bureaucracies and wrongly accused individuals. When people refer to something Kafkaesque or a Kafka universe, they're referring to these themes.
Mads referring to himself as "daddy". Goodbye world I'm dead.
wheerrreee? what's the time mark?

This man is perfection
You stole my words from my mouth.
The perfection of his features and. profile remind me of the same perfection of Cristopher Reeve.
Exactly 🥺
Daddy. He called himself a daddy. save me.
at what time mark?!
Mads is such a typical Dane, haha! I love him, seriously. He's super chill, acts like a completely normal person and isn't stuck up at all. He just seems happy to be able to do what he loves for a living and I think that that's incredibly inspiring :')
Handsome, kind, insightful, athletic, funny, silly, sincere, talented, versatile, generous, humble, and full of joy for his craft. I love this man.
His English is spectacular. Also, he's brilliant. "Great love becomes great fear." The Hunt was an amazing film as well. I am in love.

After watching Mads as Hannibal, there won't be any innocent roll for him. xD
LeagueOfMetal He'll be Hannibal forever LOL

Now we just need him to say "The DILF that I am."
A very good interview with a very good actor. Thumbs up
Hannibal made me hungry.. for Mads 😉 He's a great actor, currently watching his other works.

I've liked him since Casino Royale, great actor.
OMG, I love him!
He's so real; I love him.
Mr. Mikkelsen, stars don't shine as bright as your most beautiful, intelligent eyes. Thank you for sharing your stunning talent with us all.

I heavily doubt it. lol
@@mango8127 ...How can you doubt something that already happened? There were 3 seasons of Hannibal before it was cancelled.
Excelente entrevista.
Danke coldmirror für die Verknüpfung!
And Happy Birthday from me! In a couple days, that is. Great interview, and I love your portrayal.
Mads! You are too cool!
