Mads has a slight palatal lisp. First I thought it was just danish being his native tongue (because it does have rather short and closed vowels), but after listening to other danish people talking, I realised it was actually a lisp. And on top of that he tends to under-articulate. He said himself once that it drove his teachers at acting school insane, I quote: "trying to teach him how to talk so that other people could understand him."
