Have this on my R1250RS. After 17K miles, no battery issues (I commute on mine, its never been sittong for more than a few weeks over the worst of winter). You left out the part about it reprting if the alarm wss triggered while you were away - if not, one short beep or turn signal flash. Two beeps or flashes if it went off. Because of that unaboidable beep on startup, I leave the arming tone off but auto arm on. And of course tilt - why is that even an option?
Yeah not sure. I can’t even remember if it beeped. Same with me. The most the bike has ever sat unridden was 2 weeks max. Thanks for the comment! Ride safe
$1,000 Parts and Labor. It can also disable the bike for you as well, so I would stay away from this if you do a lot of adventure riding far civilization.
It's a paid option. My dealer did not encourage me to buy it because it does not disable the bike. It only sounds the alarm. Still nice that it's a factory option. I may add it at some point as a discouragement for potential thief's.
Yeah it’s a nice option. I also wish I would disable the bike, but I don’t know if any alarm that does that. There is the monimoto that calls you if it goes off. Pretty cool
You would think this is an out the box option, Must say I don’t use mine but I plan on riding to portugal from scotland this summer so will be sure to have it on when i stop overnight in places .

I actually sue quadlock and I’m quite happy with it. I would have to take my phone out of the case for that bracket I’m guessing and I don’t want to do that. Thank you anyways
Thanks for this, going to turn of the auto arm now. Woke up the entire neighborhood at 5am putting my bag in the pannier😅
Thanks for producing this video. I did not know that. I am going to go and check my bike out.
Is additional

Thanks for this one!
Does the alarm take much energy from the battery? Can you leave the alarm on for a few days for example, without worrying about the battery goes low.
Iv never left it on for more than one day. I have heard some people say it does suck on the battery
can you tell me the modulle number of that alarm please
Was this a dealer add? Wonder what the cost would be?
Yes it is an add on.

Helpful. Thanks.

i can disable this alarm in 1 minute- remove the seat, unscrew bike's battery- alarm wont work :):):) - so whats a point of it? -
Always great to have an
Independent system..
The alarm has it's own independent batteries. When you remove the bike battery without disarming the alarm first, it goes off.

Yeah I wouldn’t use it if I was on a remote adventure
