Ride out suggestions for you - ride out to matlock bath - go via holme moss, glossop, snake pass, castleton, winnats pass, yonderman cafe then bakewell and to matlock.
Another suggestion- dales run, route 59, settle, ribblehead, hawes, buttertubs, Reeth, Leyburn and Manor Cafe?
To be honest mate both of them sound like absolutely mega rides out! I am a sucker for ribblehead so second route could be an absolute winner!!! buttertubs too!!!

Didn't realise I'm only 13 miles from the satellite location, however it's 45 mins. Sounds like fun!

Just passed my test aged 65 and after watching this took my brand new SV650 and did the exact same route. (Live in Holmfirth). A bit more challenging than what I've been doing. Hill start by the Ford Inn a bit scary, Made it more difficult for myself by being too far over to the left where it is even steeper and gravelly to boot.
Oh really!!! It's a really great route for if you are learning and practising for sure, some tricky sections like you said. Is that junction where the van was in front of me?

This is making me want to get the bike out and take the Mrs out for a ride out, Unfortunately bike is still off the road 🥲hopefully will get it back on the road next month 🤞

A good spot is Leeds harley Davidson if its a Saturday then there is normally alot of bikes and as far as I know the aprilia that opened in the building will be having a launch party at the end of the month I work at the harley so if you wanna come down I'm normally on the front desk
