A lot of times when i'm done measuring AOB with a protractor on the map... most of tte data i gathered had already been turned obsolete... =(
@soupalex The chrono measures the length of time it takes the vessel to move it's own length. For the magnetic pistols I aim 0.5 - 1 meter below the keel in calm seas, 1.5-2 meters in foul weather. I think waffleimages died and took all my screenshots with it, so there's not an awful lot to see of my LP in the SA thread.
@Paranyxidas Once you've bought a game from steam you own it and can install, uninstall and reinstall as many times as you like. As long as your curent installation is "vanilla" (unmodified) you should be able to install the Grey Wolves mod without reinstalling. The best place to get support for GWX is from the subsim forums, which can be found via google. Hope you enjoy GWX!

One or two questions about the video: What are you timing on the chrono with the notepad (and periscope "locked")? Finding type, range and AoB are to me, but for speed I've always had to resort to other methods. Secondly, how far off the draft do you aim with magnetic detonators (~1-2m)? Also, nice disc collection ;) Oh, and lucky no-one saw those T1s! Good hunting!

@Obltzs everythitg seems to be ok now.maybe because i tried to launch my saved games from before the mod hat happened?theres just a problem that when i want to start my 6th patrol at AN41 i found my self in africa in the golf of Guinea.... How can i fix this?
Are you high? I was using the auto targeting mode and went 0-14 in torpedoes. I had to go back to port to reload it was so bad. I'm JUST starting to understand how to line up for a good shot and sunk 5 ships. All of them neutral. :(
@Obltzs HI!I did everythimg and when i tried to set up gwx mod it showed me a message that mods detected,even i didt downloaded anything before.when i launch the game it crashes at the beggining. what can i do???

its far easyer than this look for the direction he it moving estamate how far he will move within the time you think it will take the torpeto to hit him in otherwords wing it

I can't imagine going through all that for each shot (though the results clearly make it worth it).
The reward for the effort makes it fun, thats why I love this game

@gehtdoch13 Grey Wolves megamod for SH3, along with Silent Hunter 3 Commander and SH3Gen.

Das Boot approves. In this game you can almost just guess where to send it and it will almost always nail.
