i like the format of the video but it would really help if the text and gameplay werent so disjointed. its hard to tell what to focus on, the gameplay or the text or both. I can't even be sure if the gameplay being shown to me is related to the text because the clips are so fast that by the time im reading the text its on to the next tip or clause. I really do love how you try to make it short. no fluff no bs, its the best way any guide could be written. but the visuals are a giant headache.
@@Eribow that’s alright! You’ll find that confidence one day, if it helps I’m the same way. I despise my voice on recordings, just sounds weird. But all my friends say there’s nothing wrong with it haha.
this has made me want to pick up tri again o.o seeing all these clean oneshots i didnt think were possible to get down, from any angle you want pretty much,,, thank you for re-inspiring me :) for a 10 minute guide this is packed
As a tri-stringer player with over 600 wins, I still learned something new from your video! Thank you for putting so much effort into it. Perhaps adding your voiceover could help us follow along without needing to focus on the subtitles! One last thing to mention is that if the territory is taken over, it’s quite difficult to turn the game around with this weapon. Therefore, aside from suppressing enemies, controlling the territory is unexpectedly crucial.
WELL worth the wait, so awesome to finally have a guide to help us improve our bow skills. Thank you SO much for all your hard work on the guide you didn't have to make for us. Super happy to have contributed as little as I did!
10:32 Are there some very common ones? It’s likely better to just learn to naturally angle shots over time but I’ll also take some nifty secrets if you got some Also ty for bow guide we appreciate you ❤🙏
I don't play stringers, but still very much enjoyed this video, information is yummy :3 (The video is also very well-made, I love the music choices especially)
honestly, I don't play with the bows that often, but this looks like a very on point guide, even I saw one major problem I do when playing with the bows, good video tho :b 1:22 ARMS MUSIC LET'S GOO (I know it's the remix of ssbu, but still) I WIN!!!!!
Excuse me, did you say it shoots 'bottles'? They're popsicles. They even confirmed it it on Twitter when they announced the Wellstring V on Twitter. I don't remember if it was JP or NA Splatoon Twitter, sorry.
Thank you for the guide Erito. It was very informative and it's very appreciated. Bamboo as an aiming drill weapon? That's really awesome. I love Bamboo and I wanted to play the weapon some. I was approaching verticals and horizontals wrong in some regards. I just wanted to rely on horizontals to have a wider hitbox, akin to a Roller. I'll go for verticals some more. And aiming a heck of a lot more straight. As for Thermal Ink... I knew that's where that was going. It may be a me thing but... I may feel a bit overwhelmed having the map open while doing other things. For example, I was playing Clam and I was about to score. I accidentally opened the map and, all of a sudden, I can't think of throwing the Clam I have while the map open. And I couldn't. So, I'm expected to aim a hard to aim weapon while also being mentally overloaded with the open map? Respectfully, no thanks. I'd rather use a main slot to make my life easier. But overall, thanks for the guide. It was pretty informative.
V-Stringer is my favorite kit and I'd like to mention the Toxic Mist > Half-Charge combo, They have about the same range so it's easy to trap enemies in both ink and mist but you're also bypassing the Sub white ink frames allowing for instant ink recovery, I highly recommend Ink Recovery Up or atleast LDE for this reason. I'd also not sleep on Killer Wail Special Power Up as a main ability lends an extra half second of dissplacement (3 > 3,5 Sec). Both Toxic Mist and Killer Wail can be used to locate enemies, Mist has a sound effect that alerts you when someone enters so Thermal Ink definitly isn't necessary here.
While I think the information in the guide is really helpful, I think another pass was needed on how the text was being described. If there's not going to be a VO, the text should probably be in a more readable place that doesn't take my eyes away from the visual examples throughout the video, or not having text at all on points where the visual guide is particularly important. As is, I couldn't focus both on the illustration of your points and what you were saying at the same time, which made things really hard to follow. I can't deny, what's being taught here is very valuable, but it's going to suffer a little bit for just being a bit difficult to parse from the presentation for people like me.
Just tried the Squid Aimer and it just showed me how bad my strafing and aim really is 😭 On the bright side, now I know what I need to work on! Everything 😊 (Thanks for making this video. I've been coming back to it since it came up in my recommended ^^)
I don't play stringers but this was very interesting to watch! The one thing I will say is that I'm not sure I'd recommend SquidAimer right now. From personal and other people's experience, the gyro Splatoon 3 has isn't perfectly replicated in the program, so the aim training isn't entirely accurate to the game, meaning it may do more harm than good for your aim.
Amazing guide. The bow has been my go to weapon for 3. I feel I’m getting the hang of it but my aim is meh. I’ve got some decent splats but most felt like luck instead of skill. What sensitivity would you recommend. Mine is 2.5/5 for now.
Idk, Thermal Ink seems pretty useful for me. I can track people behind cover without having to obscure my entire view with the map and make landing my next shot on them easier.
I should learn Japanese and coding then get a job at Nintendo and become a splatoon dev and buff the hell out of bow better one shot accuracy if one of the charged arrows hits it now deals 45 damage fully charged arrows fly in the air faster charging in the air is the same speed as on the ground
What bow guide should I do next? 😁
Wellstring perhaps?
CWELL
30 minute video essay on why dflux is underrated
Wellstring
me.
Playing Bow so well that it acts as a unique charger rather than AOE spam is impressive as all can be! Thank you so much for this tutorial!
While I am more of a Splatana player, it's great to see an insightful guide on Tri Stringer, showcasing it's strengths and how to play off of them.
Just five starred it a week ago. I'll forever be grateful to Splatoon 3 for introducing it to the series

Was about to write the same I had to constantly pause the video. It was annoying and would’ve been better with a voice over 100%
didn’t feel comfortable enough to do a voiceover but I will work on it! Thank you for your feedback 🙏

I always thought they looked like popsicles, and they have a minor chill effect when in the ground too
@@koveltskiis8391I mean, it's a bomb pop
I love that they added my favorite irl weapons, being bows and swords ❤
A bow guide how I waited patiently for this moment! Tri-stringer and Wellspring the two weapons I enjoy playing. Server with other bow players oo!

Very in-depth insight too, I like
As one of the few bow mains out there this is a great guide
LETS GO BOW GUIDE !!!! LFGGGGG
Thanks for the guide! I've been trying to find a class I love, and I think bow might be it. I just need to embrace motion controls to make it work.
this is 100% what nintendo was envisioning when they added stringer
TRI-STRINGER
God’s gift to humanity is finally here
Damn this guide is insanely good and helpful
Thank you very much for this guide! I'm already thinking about how it could apply to the REEF-LUX.
ITS HERE
i used to main hydra, now i main cds. might get into bow aswell so this is quite useful.
