I first saw these guys in 1992 just when the album this was on came out... over 3 hour set. The LOUDEST concert I have EVER been too. Fucking mind blowing to say the least.
That song was always pretty amazing. I just wish they'd update it and say live "This next song is about the murderous Warmonger Barry Obama and his continuing New World Order!" Half the hall would walk out.
I just hooked up a new SVS sub to the system I have as a sound card replacement for the PC via a Sony dig. receiver, and this song fargin crushes! I've never heard this band before. I listen to blues mostly, but for some reason I saw the word "ministry" in some article and thought I'd listen to their stuff. This was the first of many Ministry tunes I've listened to since, but this one really kicks out the jams so intensely it's unreal. Just perfect.
I still Blame Al for the rise of Limp Dicksket though. If he wouldn't have relapsed at that time, Ministry would have taken center stage. Uncle Al would probably not just be a metal icon but actually a well known one.
What year is this? While I did not enjoy this period of Ministry, it beats the hell off what Al became later. You can still see some of the old him here.
AGE 13: Had no idea what this song meant, just BANGED MY HEAD!!! AGE 18: Realize this world we live in is extremely messed up, we must fight it and fight it now. If a rock band knew about this 10 years ago, how long has it been going on?
That is an excvellent live rendition of the post punk industrial classic, NWO. Al's voice sounds really sharp and clean...less FX is a refreshing change for our gothic cyber cowboy Al Jourgensen. This song fuckin' rules...period!
"It´s a bout Papa Bush", haha, just gotta love it. Ministry have inspired me SO fn much creating... thanx Al and crew for that. Peace n respect. JB // man.machine.industry
Too bad he wrote and sang this ... And when the real nwo happens ( The Great Reset ) ... He's e mailing folks about 'They should be voting' and has lost all credibility accepting a cash grab to do it. Ha Ha Ha.
It wasn't just Papa Bush, both establishment Republican and Democrats working with internationalists push for NWO now repackaged as The Global Reset and Agenda 2030.
"All the locals hide their tears of regret Open fire cos I love you to death Sky high, with a heartache of stone Youll never see me cos Im always alone How to love without a trace of dissent Ill buy the torture cos you pay for the rent Tied high with a broken command Youre all alone to the promised land Im in love with this malicious intent Youve been taken but you dont know it yet What you will know must never live to be found Cos its the subject of the eyes of the clown" INSANE!
Jourgensen was awesome on this tour, he looked in great shape. And i loved hearing songs without voice distortion. A real punk rock feeling on this tour.
@NastyByte The joke in the 70s was "I'm going into the studio to record a live album." The Rolling Stones had an album called "Got Live if you Want It" and one song "Fortune Teller" is clearly done entirely in the studio.
this would be my favourite live version of this song. Mostly because Al never takes his glasses off and he's just cool playing the V Wing towards the end. :)
The first thing said and repeated several times -- "It's allright...it's allright". That was Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse now, when he is guiding Martin Sheen's boat into Captain Kurtz' camp. Trivia fact for the masses-- bet you did not know that one.
Good stuff there boy I remember I went to some event back in 91 it was put doors n traffic was backed up going down this dirt road leading into the concert n ministry was playing this song n it was so fucking load n the music was going all through the country side was,so serial
The solo during the 2nd half that they sampled from apocolypse now sounds like its still the sample from the album version and not actually being played by the singer. he looks like he's pretending to play it.
One of the hardest, most bad ass shows I have ever been to . . . saw them at the House of Blues in Hollywood about 3 or 4 years ago . . . AWESOME SHOW!!! Gotta see them again!
Hey AL! i been researching Ministry in retrospect. I Dig! I see now i was in a bit of ignorance till '92 (Lolapalooza) i played bass for JAMC (DRUNKEN and drugged/waste-oid) and band mascot, i didn't care. Gibby said in Dallas, "Hey man! you're a rock star" whatever that is? i told him i was just hired for a tour or 2 with these guys, he says "No man! the Wipers!" Good gravy! i had no idea anyone knew who i was! Good times, wiping away all else before it, trial by fire if you will. you gave me something in Denver @ the hotel bar and i went back up to my room w/ a 4 0r 5 beers and Helter-Skelter came on T.V. I went thu' HELL Since then (i know you care) i look 35! i'm in san diego CA now Land of conservative hipsters, and subtle ubiquitous military presence. And, i know it's not prudent but, even here i try to use my particular pathos. Y'know keep in touch w/ the younger generation. I almost moved to Austin quite a while back but my girlfriend at the time assured me in no uncertain terms that "I wasn't going anywhere" many may think i am insane, trying to contact you in this manner....i am. Felches! Yours....Brad Davidson.
Oh, seems like i misheard the lyrics. But you can hear the photographer screaming "to the right" in Apocalypse Now when the boat finds Walter's palace.
Some NWO trivia: The guy who says " it's allright! It's allright!" is Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now movie. Seeing Ministry tomorrow nite - they kick ass!
i have a couple of samples taken from it myself. "some day this war is gonna end" "never get of the fuckin boat" and he likes. so brilliantly written and acted out. was originaly meant to be like 13 hours long when it was planned. kind of thing youd need to take a few days off work to watch and recover.
This seems like it would be a refreshingly nice concert show to attend with my girlfriends parents. I wonder if they will have appatizers or lemonade after the show?
I dont think the corporation that owns their music will allow youtube to show it to you. It will be one of those soundless videos you end up with if you try.
"its alright, its alright" Dennis Hopper from apocalypse now. i only know because its my favourite movie. not "trying to put you in your place" or anything.
I saw Ministry at the second Lollapalooza. Man, The entire place looked like fucking armageddon. The entire backfield was on fire and people were throwing GIGANTIC clumps of sod all the way from the back. I remember seeing one poor kid dragging his newly broken leg behind him!! Damn Ministry, you scary!
i saw this show a few years back..it was the first time in ten years that they has playd! i waws right in the front and it kicked ass! theyplayed with hanzul und gretal who also rock!!!!!!!
@S4PIENT Thank you! Finally, a person who understands the meaning of anarchism. Anarchists do seek to abolish current authority but do not adhere to a set or similar ideology, while often considered to be radically left winged, this too, is a misconception. I guess these misconceptions are the reason so many folks believe that just because Al is an anarchist, he therefore is a socialist. He never claimed to be a socialist; he simply hated the politics of Bush Sr. and Bush Jr.
holy shit...this live version of the classic NWO just blew me the fuck away...my son is getting into heavy stuff now and he would go ape shit over the harder Ministry.
a kid on my school bus put this album on the stereo back in1991 and my life fucking changed!!
The best track from the best Ministry album. Teach it to your children.
I first saw these guys in 1992 just when the album this was on came out... over 3 hour set. The LOUDEST concert I have EVER been too. Fucking mind blowing to say the least.
the greatest one note song of all time!
get your hearing checked Sammy Sue, there are like 4 notes.
Right up there for me man
I'm not a fan of math rock and guitar wankers, I prefer riffs like this over and over again
This dude was light years ahead of his time how he knew
Many people knew problem was how to spread around without internet
If love to meet him
He listened to Alex Jones...however now he backs Antifa... find out who funds them and BLM.
@@carlosbernalism I listen to Alex back in 2002 all the way up until he signed his soul away
Alex Jones
Best raw live audio of this song on UA-cam….
i just need my headphones to pump up the audio a bit lol
Por fin encontré este tema y a este grupo....tantos años que no los escuchaba.
The "It's allright"-Sample is from Apocalypse Now.
Just a thing I noticed. ;)
Great Song
That song was always pretty amazing. I just wish they'd update it and say live "This next song is about the murderous Warmonger Barry Obama and his continuing New World Order!" Half the hall would walk out.
I would say 94.8% ... lol
Awesome to see Ministry play this live, a killer song from one of the best Industrial Metal albums ever made
I just hooked up a new SVS sub to the system I have as a sound card replacement for the PC via a Sony dig. receiver, and this song fargin crushes! I've never heard this band before. I listen to blues mostly, but for some reason I saw the word "ministry" in some article and thought I'd listen to their stuff. This was the first of many Ministry tunes I've listened to since, but this one really kicks out the jams so intensely it's unreal. Just perfect.
I was at this Concert in 1994. At the end of the song, He said "We must begin a revolution against these Tyrants!! The time is now!!!"
This younger generation doesnt know what they missed out on..I miss shit like this noone does it right anymore
I still Blame Al for the rise of Limp Dicksket though. If he wouldn't have relapsed at that time, Ministry would have taken center stage. Uncle Al would probably not just be a metal icon but actually a well known one.
could not agree more
This song was played at a concert i went to like 3 weeks ago. Mostly went to see slayer, but i enjoyed ministry songs as well.
I was 10 years old when this came out and I fucking loved it then. I still love it now. I may be somewhat disturbed , but that's okay.
If a rock band knew about this 10 years ago, how long has it been going on?
not fight it. surrender to it
man this never gets old
That is an excvellent live rendition of the post punk industrial classic, NWO. Al's voice sounds really sharp and clean...less FX is a refreshing change for our gothic cyber cowboy Al Jourgensen. This song fuckin' rules...period!
💀I'm in Atlanta. I blast this in the Range Rover whenever I'm downtown... the reactions are rewarding to say the least.
Long live Ministry
we need more bands like them
and more people like Al Jourgensen
Yeah
"It´s a bout Papa Bush", haha,
just gotta love it.
Ministry have inspired me SO fn much creating... thanx Al and crew for that.
Peace n respect.

An oldie, but a goodie, lol, funny how 90's is now "oldie" esepcially when it is so pertinent to today's world situation.
How about today's situation...
The pinnacle of heavy
Der Lichtblick schlechthin für Wacken 2012.
2006 habe ich die zuletzt Live gesehen, man waren die gut.

This Song Makes Me Go Faster
On Treadmill !!!
"All the locals hide their tears of regret
Open fire cos I love you to death
Sky high, with a heartache of stone
Youll never see me cos Im always alone
How to love without a trace of dissent
Ill buy the torture cos you pay for the rent
Tied high with a broken command
Youre all alone to the promised land
Im in love with this malicious intent
Youve been taken but you dont know it yet
What you will know must never live to be found
Cos its the subject of the eyes of the clown"
INSANE!
Mike Scaccia solo is scathingly good...reminds me of Sonic Youth when they were more industrial early on...RIP Scaccia & Paul Raven ☆♡☆
I remember the first time I ever heard this song. I became a fan of industrial on the spot. Al is the man!
this would be my favourite live version of this song. Mostly because Al never takes his glasses off and he's just cool playing the V Wing towards the end. :)
magnificent! this song's still fresh after all these years ;)
Visage, Boots, Braces, LSD, Plenty of Vodka, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, NIN. Ahhhh the memories
Great song and excellent clip from NastyByte,as usual. Thanx for sharing!
I like his voice . The lyrics are clear to hear.
Al J, one of the best composers ever to live in Vancouver Canada. From Voodoo club to Luvafair this tune ripped!
The first thing said and repeated several times -- "It's allright...it's allright". That was Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse now, when he is guiding Martin Sheen's boat into Captain Kurtz' camp.
Trivia fact for the masses-- bet you did not know that one.
I did! And the little guitar melody sample at the end is from the same movie, played on a radio.
hey Nastybyte was this one of their more recent concerts? guess it doesn't matter, this is great footage and editing to match, ninety nine thumbs up!
Good stuff there boy I remember I went to some event back in 91 it was put doors n traffic was backed up going down this dirt road leading into the concert n ministry was playing this song n it was so fucking load n the music was going all through the country side was,so serial

I love those gestures and faces that Jourgensen makes in the end of the song XD
Frigging HEAVY!!!!
I saw them on this tour and they were fucking awesome.

So good, so strong!!!! Ministry , we love you!
Thanks for posting this video up! A classic track. This is where I learned that synths and samples CAN be mixed with metal guitars. GENIUS!
Illuminati, Freemason, rostchild semuaaaa MILIKKU !!! MEREKA SEHARUSNYA MENCIUM TANGANKU BUKAN DAJJAL
@Electric2000 yes, "it's the world's second oldest profession, and has a lot of similarities to the first"
combines speed metal with electronica and thats probably the reason you like it
Back in '95, I never realized Industrial would never be the same again.
The women.......it was a great time.
Uma das, o a melhor banda do mundo
Oh, seems like i misheard the lyrics. But you can hear the photographer screaming "to the right" in Apocalypse Now when the boat finds Walter's palace.
This song is sick now that song just kicks ass 99 thumbs down are just simply out of place with Time
this is an all time fave song with the best use of samples ever!!!
Not to mention those great riffs
Sometimes prophets scream and no one listens to them for a while. \\

Még mindig és újra és újra a legjobb :D
one of my fav ministry songs
It's funny, cause I listened to Ministry's early albums, but unlike Metallica, I still listen to these guys.
Definitely 1 of the best bands to ever come out the U.S.
you tube removed the best video ever of this song about a month ago...damn shame
Which concert is this from & is it available on d.v.d.??? Anyone know??? I fucken love ministry....they were one of the best industrial bands EVER!!!!
I wish I could have that sample of that fucking scream he does throughout the track.. I love it.
Some NWO trivia: The guy who says " it's allright! It's allright!" is Dennis Hopper in Apocalypse Now movie. Seeing Ministry tomorrow nite - they kick ass!

I can't find the original video anywhere online. I have it still on VHS lol
CORONA VIRUS BOUGHT ME BACK TO YOU! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?
Indeed. Hopefully this plandemic awakens the sheeple. Finally.
This seems like it would be a refreshingly nice concert show to attend with my girlfriends parents. I wonder if they will have appatizers or lemonade after the show?

"its alright, its alright" Dennis Hopper from apocalypse now. i only know because its my favourite movie. not "trying to put you in your place" or anything.
Gotta love the algorithm. Typed Ministry NWO, and got a commercial for Fresno Pacific University. A churchy collage.
RIP Mr. Paul Raven and Mr. Peter Steele. I can't wait to hear you guys and Dime Bag's new one! ;)~
I saw Ministry at the second Lollapalooza. Man, The entire place looked like fucking armageddon. The entire backfield was on fire and people were throwing GIGANTIC clumps of sod all the way from the back. I remember seeing one poor kid dragging his newly broken leg behind him!!

Flying high with the public in hand. I'm in love with the promised land
it was 92 Lollapalooza. I am wearing the shirt right now; with R.H.C. headline.
@NastyByte but who or what is at the top of the pyramid? Probably a giant owl or Yoda.
because the other one is from the sphinctour dvd (which is copyrighted), unlike this video, which was uploaded by the owner.
I saw ministry in 98 in downtown Cleveland, they rock the fuck out live.
I would love to see ministry again.
@4AdamKane1 this was filmed at washington dc's 9:30 club
I guess you told me huh? Wow! Boy have I been put in my place. To quote Kurt Cobain: "I am forever in debt for your priceless advice."
This performance is very cool, Alanna voice sounds lot more punk rock instead of death metal!!!!
I seen them back in 96 and it was one the best shows that I have seen
Can't stop listening to this song! So true, especially today!
Funny how I listened to this song 15+years ago and had NO CLUE WHAT IT MEANT.
Wow, this track takes me back. Briliant
The NWO rides above the Dem vs Repub puppet show.
Paul Raven and Peter Steele have passed away as well.
Ha, i never noticed that. Is that the "To the right!" part? And which part of Apocalypse Now is it from?
is there a sound clip out of apocalypse now in this song?
Think that's Paul Raven on bass. RIP Raven King ♥️
Ministry has been around for at least 10 years longer than Rammstein.
@S4PIENT Thank you! Finally, a person who understands the meaning of anarchism. great video!! the song and band kick ass!!!
