In them you know simplicity, and you are politely introduced to good manners, modesty, and the divine value of a skill so delicately shared. I can feel sad just knowing that when I was born the world seemed so much more organized and empathetic than it does today, and because of my young age, I missed all of that.

1st video of him that I watched. I do not know about painting or art but its so natural that I could not stop watching and making comment. The picture looks so complete and beautiful from beginning. Every time he adds something looks so enticing. So peaceful to mind for some time. Somehow attracts to paint and feels like I also can do or try at least.

I've been painting in the Bob Ross style since 2014 and it's so interesting to me to see how Bob's style progressed from the early seasons to the later seasons. I don't know how clearly it comes through to the average viewer, but Bob refined his skills immensely over the years and in the later seasons managed to paint some truly remarkable pieces given his 27 minute time constraint. And then if you look at the instructional books Bob published, where he had all the time in the world, you can see that Bob truly matured into an absolute master of his craft.
