Honestly I’m glad they don’t have any overt sandlot branding. I don’t want a sandlot inspired shoe, I want the actual shoe from the movie
True, I feel that. I was thinking maybe something subtle like the paper inside the box, or underneath the insole. But yea, want them to look like the real ones.
The Sandlot was an organic, inclusive movie; as a Chicano kid, I identified more with Porterhr; he was just funny af. Many movies today feel like someone is shoving something in your throat you don’t want. Inclusion and tolerance should always come organically, not forced.
The Sandlot takes place in 1962.

I always size down on chucks, are these the same sizing as chucks?
For me these are true to size
I used to have these, thought they were more comfortable and better than Converse. I forgot what size I wear, it's been pissing me off. I couldn't find any stores near me that have them so I can try them on, instead of buying them online on their website and wasting money. I wear an 8 in Converse now, I'm 5'7". Let me know down below what size I need, it would help me out so much.
Just got my pair. I had the older ones with the grey stripe in the back. Don’t know why they got rid of it.

So they just came out with 1993s 30th anniversary that have green soles and a new logo. Are you sure you got the 30th and not the 25th anniversary?
Hmmm yea I just checked the site and the soles are green. I ordered mine the end of last year, and they were definitely advertised then as the 1993. Maybe I got pair from the end of their previous supply.
I like these better than chucks cuz this insole is more cushioned I have a pair of the Benny Rodriguezs also 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

they're similar to converse, i'd go with that --- but whenever i'm unsure i personally go half size up so i know i'm safe
Can’t wear converse because too narrow at toe and too wide at heel. I wanna see how the Flyers fit compared to them. Also wanna grab a pair of Redball Jets.

Yea they're pretty true to size. I wear 11.5 in Jordan 1s also and I got 12 in these PF flyers to be safe, and they feel a tad big. But not too big. I had gone 11 in these before and they were too small, so wanted to be safe this time

There was no such thing as all black PF FLYERS in 1962 or later into the 60's. Ive never understood why they gave those to him in the movie.
Because they were cool, and story wise they were like a secret mystical weapon.

These feel true to size IMO. I'm a 10 in casual shoes. I went with size 10 and they feel right.
