Ugh. I feel like so many of us watching this are on the verge of tears. I'm just so sad. I'm nearing 2 months post op. These feelings are just now surfacing. Like you said, my PMS emotional wise has NEVER been this bad! It's off the chain! Ugh. I just feel helpless. Really hoping this subsides.
Omg..I'm 6 weeks post-op and I'm on my own..hubby on work away from home. He was here for me for my surgery, and every weekend since. I told him what I'll be going through, had my little cries before n after. But this video for later emotions etc? I put on a little weight so far, hubby said he's okay with it. Very supportive. But still gonna sweat it off doing my house chores. Moving like a friggin turtle! Lol. Just gotta look at the funny side too I guess and laugh it off. It kinda makes things easier. Play music and sing! Good luck to everyone going through this! We all need these videos and information. Thank you for this. It's uplifting, hope you'll be okay soon🙏❤️
I needed this today. I thought leaving my ovaries meant I wasn't going to have emotional hormonal issues. The way you are feeling is what I am going through. Thank you so much for this. I'm 7weeks post op
I'm so glad I found this! I'm 4mo post op and for this past week i've been crying for no reason! Good rup know i'm not the only 1. You're videos are very helpful thank you for having the courage to be transparent to share!
Samantha Jaikaran no ma'am. Im just eating right, walking, and light working out. I'm working my way back into my routine slowly. I'm actually down 10lbs. I do still have my ovaries so I still have cycle symptoms. Hope this helps. Feel free to ask whatever you want.
Pamela Morris thank you I'm scared being scheduled now any info will help me I'm only 27 years old but losing alot n my health is getting bad but if you have any info please let me know anything will help.
I know it's been along time since your surgery but do you have any symptoms from menopause now like lack of sleep, memory fog, hot flashes, my surgery was in 2017 sometimes I cant sleep hot flashes are unbelievable, my emotions are all over the place I hope you have the time to respond I know people are busy but I'll surely appreciate your input.
I am almost 6 weeks after surgery and I am having the same issues. I only have one ovary . I am happy one moment and sad the next for no reason. The depression symptoms are now starting to cause problems at home because I can’t control it. I am going to the doctor today to start taking something to control it. I can’t live like this.
I have gained a ton of weight since my hysterectomy and also my boobs are so sore. I'm the opposite of you with the crying now I just have bad mood swings. Like you I am blessed to not be in pain all the time, but I didn't expect all of this. Also my immune system is down, I catch everything now. Love your videos as always. ❤️
I've been having these hormonal issues for 14 years from just a tubal ligation. It's called ovarian isolation, and is from having the blood supply cut from your ovaries. Just because they left them inside you doesn't mean they don't slowly atrophy. I use bioidentical hormone cream from Amazon. Helps ALOT. P.s. the symptoms didn't start till a year after my tubal. So the videos of hysterectomy ladies saying they're doing "great" right after the surgery are hard to believe. It takes time for the hormone problems to hit you.
OMG!!! I'm at 4 weeks post and I have NO interest in going thru this. I figured I had this one emotional episode a couple days after surgery and that would be it. Ugh😣😣😣plus, I've never been pregnant and I weighed a lot for a woman who was very thin until these confounded fibroids entered my life. I was 120 pounds in my 30s at 5 feet tall. I finally started working out a little since surgery, hopefully it will help me lose (please Lord dont let me gain anymore) weight. Thank you so much for posting your videos. They are a big help while going through.
Hi Sis. I so appreciate you sharing your journey. I found your videos because I am considering having a hysterectomy. Coming off of regular deodorant successfully has a great deal to do with your diet. Acidic and harsh foods put off a smell when the body is processing them. I wanted to suggest you try an alkaline diet. Which is a big challenge when made immediately for the whole family, but easier to have a goal of 90% alkaline when you transition gradually. Like starting with breakfast, then snacks, then lunch etc. An alkaline diet would also amazing clear up many of the hormonal issues and definitely the weight loss issues you are having. It would be an advantage to you to speak to a holistic practitioner in addition to some of your own research.
*I know this is an old video. But the Schmitz magnesium deodorant at whole foods is the BEST all natural deodorant Ive found. Even pro athletes that sweat use it. Just thought I'd share. I'm 29, no kids, have PCOS, and might be getting a total hysterectomy this year. So thank you for these videos. They are really helpful. Hope you are doing well.*
Thanks for this video. I had my hysterectomy one year on Saturday. Emotionally I'm not.too bad but I can definitely relate.to the sore nipples and the weight gain. Maybe you need to have some blood work done best of luck to you! Hope you find something that works.
I had a supracervical hysterectomy 2 months ago,and I've noticed that I have bad mood swings. I went off the rails on my boyfriend, but he deserved it cause he said something that pissed me off. The upside is that I haven't gained weight. This is kinda a good thing cause I went back to work and I am always on my feet and walking.
Hello how are you doing today? I would like to say Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for making the videos you have made about this. I'm 40 and I'm having a full hysterectomy with everything being removed on Monday and the sad thing is my birthday is that Saturday. But you have answered so many of my questions and I must say I'm not looking forward to going through the rollercoaster ride, but it is what it is. I guess my next question is how long will it last?
How have you been since your full hysterectomy. Have you gained weight? Are you fine healthwise. I just found out I have to have one and I saw your post to this old video. Please help.
Just curious have you tried hormones I had my hysterectomy 2 weeks ago and was left with one ovary. I’m feeling depressed and mood swings very emotional
Oh do I have the miracle all natural deodorant for you! Mix baking soda and extra virgin, unrefined cold pressed coconut oil (3/4 C baking soda and 1/4 C coconut oil). In summer the mixture will become more oily vs. the solid it will be in the winter. I would suggest using it as little as possible because baking soda is somewhat abrasive and may irritate you at times. This stuff works so good that I only need to use twice month. I shared with my sister-in law and she was ecstatic after using. My husband and 18 yr old use and LOVE! They also have found they only need to use maybe once a week.Let me know how much you love!
Hi I'm about to go do a total hysterectomy laparoscopic surgery to remove everything ovaries, uterus and everything else. I would like to know what to expect im disabled can't walk good and I had a blood clot in my calf before, do you think it's possible I can develop a next one after my surgery? I also have high blood pressure , diabetes and asthma.
First Thank you again for this video. I too find myself crying a lot I had my surgery May 15 2017. I was I was on hormone pills right after the surgery and the doctor had me on these to control my hormones to see how everything would work out and I felt that help me for a while and he took me off of those now I find myself crying at least 3 to 5 times a day. I find myself crying at the smallest things like you said in your video at a commercial or just laughing or being laughed up on at a joke I need to do something to get my hormones under control I too do not want to be on hormone pills or shots maybe if something that you found works for you please any advice that you can give would be most helpful thank you again.
Target had a good one I use because I went through cancer and deodorants are bad. The one at targets is good though and it has no aluminum and no perobens either. Can’t remember the name right now but it’s a stick and feels like the others so it works well.
I know this comment is late but I'm viewing your video because I'm going through the same experience. I do want to suggest a deodorant that's aluminum free and I love it. I'm active and work out and it keeps me fresh. It's called Native. You have to order it online. I like the vanilla/coconut. It takes about 2 weeks for your body to adjust to it but afterwards you'll be fine. I hope this helps.
Wait I'm just 1 week and 4 days out and I'm already emotional. Crying at the drop of a hat. but wait you're still having cramps and such. I still have my ovaries as well. I never thought about the possibility of still going through the motions of ovulation. Smh!
