Got this on Easter and for $30 this thing is really nice, never used paddles before so it will be a grind to get used to it but this is a much better idea than going straight ahead and buying a $300 controller that hopefully will last, this attachment seems like is pretty durable... maybe considering the fact that it is pretty chunky but yeah for $30 USD/ CAD this a definitely worth it

Apparently, the back button is near impossible to find at the moment and prices on eBay are just plain silly! Here's my advice, If you can't get it at regular retail price don't pay extra. It works fine but it's not worth more than $50 (AUS). If you are thinking about spending more, I'd recommend looking into either an extremeRate DIY kit or even a modded controller like a Scuf.
Bought one on aliexpress for £30, came with chinese retail box but, works perfectly. Agree that it does take time to get used to and was actually regretting the purchase at first but slowly getting used to it.
I have big hands and it fit perfectly with my hands so if you have smaller hands get the wired one because the button are smaller and can fit smaller hands

Late to the video but I happened upon this whilst looking into buying this product as a late christmas present to myself using some money I got from my uncle. Top level production and lovely clear review. I have used a strikepack for a while before it started glitching and stopping me from using the R2 trigger whilst it was connected which, given I use it almost exclusively for competitive FPS games, is quite a large issue. Hoping that this will be perfect for my needs and won't mess with the default unmapped buttons given its offfically licensed.

The first weekend I used it I was so hyped and didn't notice but it started straining my pinky on my right hand kinda bad had to stop gaming for 2 days it's feeling allitle better I've used a regular ps4 controller for like 5 years no problem I think I'm just gonna go without it for now untill I can try something else. Be careful if your hands are large and check if ur grip is straining ur hand in a different way they with reg controller. Because it all caught up with me and really hurt my hand

I’ve used strikepack paddles and even Scuf Paddles & those felt super comfortable to me. I recently got these paddles bc my strikepack ended up having disconnecting issues & man i cant get used to this back button attachment. Something about it in my hands just doesn’t feel comfortable. I don’t know how to explain it, it feels a bit bulky and awkward while i play. Maybe i need to play with it a little more but i didn’t have an issue when i was playing with the strikepack paddles or even the scuf infinity 4PS pro paddles. Overall, great video!

nice review i have a battle beaver which costs me too much. i love the damn controller but the right thumb mechanism was broken after 10 days playing. ( they say mechanic issue ) i picked this up for my back up controller until i have my battle beaver back. by the looks of it its going to work fine for me as i only play cod. cheers
I also had a battle beaver I just sent back due to a weird issue where it would look up or down without me touching anything. Brand new controller and wasn’t stick drift as no dead zone helped and was straight vertical no horizontal. I just picked up this back button for now and it is pretty good just a little bulky which makes the controller feel different.
how long did it take for you to get your battle beaver back? my r2 digital tap trigger went out and there was slight drift on right analog. i just shipped it out, and in the mean time i ordered one of these paddles. so questions how long did it take to get your battle beaver back? and how was the paddles compared to the battle beaver back buttons?

Do you use the middle fingers for the back button? I tried the same but when I want to press R3/L3, I accidentally press the back button as well. Tried with the ring finer and I didn't have problems anymore.

Maybe they were just testing the waters for future products or maybe they don't think there's enough of a market for them. The latter doesn't seem true though as they've basically been sold out since they were announced.
200 for a scuff or this attachment for 25 quid - means when the controller goes you just put this on your new DS4. no brainer till the same attachment comes out for the PS5

Probably only a few hours although I have previous experience with other pro controllers. I’d say it will start feeling normal when you adjust to using the new buttons without thinking i.e. as long as it takes to build basic muscle memory

Just bought a set for Warzone. I thought I'd instantly be better but I've had to completely re work how I think about every input. It's like I'm learning how to play all over again. Also my fingers are pretty long and I grip my controller pretty tightly I guess so I end up hitting the buttons with the middle of the digit instead of the pads of my fingers which gives me a lot of accidently presses. I need more practice I guess but after one 3 hope session I'd say I've gotten worse not better
How are you liking them now? Just got them for warzone but still getting used to them and I have the same (pressing it with the middle part of my ring finger)
@@Reyalegro definitely got more use to them. I don’t get accidental presses anymore. Jumping is easier for me than using the crouch button since I have X mapped to my right button and I’m right hand dominant. I still have to play more in order to get some of the advanced maneuvers down consistently

I don’t play as much as I’d like but I want to get good enough where I can combine the bunny hop with the drop shot
Great product presentation, subbed. Unfortunately this type of back button is very hard to find, old stock cost just about the same as the controller itself.
Main problem for me is that it came years too late. I'm already looking at the next generation consoles so I'm not investing in this for a couple months of play. If it came out years ago I would have considered it.
Certainly is strange timing. Again if this is a test then they probably aren’t super concerned with turning a big profit. From what I understand they’re hard to find so it seems like they have found a market.
It’s a huge advantage for some shooters imo. If u play games like Fortnite or COD then yes it’s definitely worth it.

I press with my ring fingers but I don’t think there’s a right or wrong way. Whatever works for you.

Yea same I'm constantly pressing L3 for sprinting and it really sucks

No, nothing like that. You can play the game with scuf pads etc so you wont get banned for using this.

Pressing the d Pad isn’t as easy on ps as it is on Xbox. The way the Xbox Controller is set up is more favorable imo
