Thank you, Rebecca! I'm so happy to hear that my recipes have been a hit in your home! 😊 Your support means the world to me, and I'm excited to keep sharing more delicious dishes with you and your family. 💖
I'm making this tomorrow. I love recipes like this and I always look to you first when I want one. They never disappoint. Thanks so much for what you do for us. It is always appreciated.
Hi Dimitra, I made this last night. It was a bit of work but worth every minute! I've been making meatballs my whole life but I never thought of adding my favorite spice (cinnamon). They were absolutely delicious! In fact, the amounts of the different ingredients are so well balanced you can taste them all without one overpowering the others. I'm glad I left the sauce thick, it was perfect. Thank you very much for this one. Just outstanding.
Thank you so much! Cooking with love creates the most special memories, and I’m sure your children will always cherish the love you put into every meal. ❤️
You're absolutely right! Greek and Lebanese cuisines share so many delicious similarities. The Mediterranean region has such a rich culinary heritage, and it's wonderful to see how our cultures connect through food.
Thanks Dimitra! Made this with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and parsley from my garden. It was so good and made an extra batch of meatballs for the freezer. Definitely reminds me of when I was a kid. 👌
I’ve prepared three of your recipes this week, two sheet pan meals and a crinkle cake using your custard recipe with different fruit. It turned out beautifully. I really enjoy your channel. Everything is so delicious and the recipes are easy to follow.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm happy to hear that you've been enjoying the recipes and that the crinkle cake turned out beautifully. Your support means a lot, and I'm so glad the recipes are working well for you. Happy cooking! 😊
This is great food absolutely delicious my grandmother and my Mom used to make it because they're from Greece too. Thank you Dimitra that you're presenting delicious, and artful Greek cuisine to the public keep up the Good job !!!
I absolutely LOVE your channel and recipes. Every single one I've tried is delicious and I appreciate that almost everything can be doubled to freeze for another time. Thank you so much!!!
This looks delicious. I don’t know how you keep coming up with SO many wonderful videos. While looking so lovely. Tonight we’re having your chicken zucchini bake ( I am trying farro instead of rice- hope it works🙏🏻)
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you’re enjoying the recipes. I hope the farro works well with the chicken zucchini bake! Let me know how it turns out. 😊
@@DimitrasDishes oh my the flavors were perfection. The chicken! 👍🥰 There was an abundance of ( flavorful) liquid though. I had soaked 1 1/2 cups whole farro kernels overnight, parboiled them 10 minutes, then fried the kernels in the oil after the onions- for flavor, before adding to your recipe. We loved the recipe, loved the chewy farro- BUT - next time I will try either omitting the parboil OR cutting down on the 2 cups broth. The farro was cooked nicely, but I just want to end up with that nicely absorbed broth as you had with white rice, with no excess liquid. It was a hit nevertheless, Dimitri. Bowls tomorrow night‼️You are the best. Thank- you.☺️
I'm literally sitting here eating some leftover lemony petso orzo i made from one of your videos, drooling over the next meal I am dying to make lol. I love your recipes! ❤
Thank you so much! It makes me so happy to know you're enjoying the recipes. That lemony pesto orzo is one of my favorites too! Can't wait to hear what you make next! ❤
When my grandfather made this dish, he used 1 1/2 pounds ground round, 1/4 lb of ground lamb and 1/4 lb of ground pork. This is part of our christmas meal each year!
Just discovered your video and this looks so good. I would love to make it but would like to know how many servings the recipe as printed will make. Off to check out some of your other recipes.
Somewhat unrelated question. Those pita breads are EXTREMELY tough. Is there a way to soften them? Middle eastern places always add them to my takeout. I just cut them in strips, cover in oil and salt and make them into chips in the airfryer.
I know what you mean! The thin pitas dry out so fast! You can warm them in a pan and spray them with some water. I also like to add a tiny bit of butter and they soften up! Way more flavorful too from the butter :)
I love your channel! I’m the furthest thing from Greek but I’ve really enjoyed learning your recipes and making them for my family. I love Greek food!

One of my favourites. Very similar to the Lebanese one I make

Green beans would go great with this dish. Especially the larger flat Italian ones. I think more sauce is needed. I'm a saucy gal!
I’m drooling
AMAZING LOVELY THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟 DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜, AWESOME
Oh YUMMY 😊
This will test great if made with Armenian ground beef kabob. Will try this weekend
Cook the potatoes half way first (as they will take longer to cook) and then place the koftas on top (as they'll cook very quickly)
Thank you for sharing that tip :)
Yummm...
Yum 😋
First comment 😊 and I am very hungry right now 😂
Thanks so much for your support!! I hope that you love this meal :)
Is this the same recipe for kaftedes

As an Armenian 🇦🇲 I confirm 👍🏼
Armenia Strong!
sorry, where did you get your baking pan from ?
I bought it from a Mediterranean market. Let me see if I can find it on Amazon :)
@@DimitrasDishes Thank you, I hope you can find it
I found this set on Amazon:amzn.to/3SPRqVT
Do you cook them from frozen , or defrost them
Can I use a ceramic dish for baking?
yes :)
I am wondering if I can use chicken instead of beef 😊
What is the fat content of the ground beef that you use. 20% ? less?
Can I use ground turkey? My mom only used beef but we now have health issues…
yes, that works :)
😍🥰❤️😋
❤
😍😍😍
Why is it not called keftedes me patates?
Thank you! Looks delicious
