I basically always play the Scandinavian since watching your video on the Icelandic gambit. So glad to see an exciting variation for one of my only openings as black

People like Eric Rosen for the Stanford but you uploaded a video on it before it was cool. Mad respect

im going with the Kadas Gambit for black, and Blackmar Deimar for white as my preferred openings to learn. i'm a new player and haven't really picked an opening to sink into yet - i love being aggressive so these seem like fine options for my beginner self i think

    • @Blackmystix

You can play blackmar-diemer against the scandi lol

@@Blackmystix agreed! Scandi and BDG can both be highly aggressive. I also recommend the (hyper) accelerated dragon, very fun in blitz!

After the white knight defends the pawn on f3, why doesn't white move the pawn on f3 one square up to threaten the black knight? I mean isn't that a better move to drive away the knight?

So it's a sort of Budapest variation?

With f3, the e5 pawn can be captured, if my memory serves.

Unfortunately your question doesn't make sense...did you mean to say e6 and d6?
It sounds like maybe you are describing the Hippopotamus Defense.
