I basically always play the Scandinavian since watching your video on the Icelandic gambit. So glad to see an exciting variation for one of my only openings as black
Your videos have helped my understanding of chess openings so much! I appreciate your content and hope you continue in the future. Good luck in whatever it is you do moving forward
im going with the Kadas Gambit for black, and Blackmar Deimar for white as my preferred openings to learn. i'm a new player and haven't really picked an opening to sink into yet - i love being aggressive so these seem like fine options for my beginner self i think
After the white knight defends the pawn on f3, why doesn't white move the pawn on f3 one square up to threaten the black knight? I mean isn't that a better move to drive away the knight?
I hope you are preparing about live streaming in the near future. I know a lot of chess players do this but still seeing you will be a different thing. Atleast do it once!
@@chesswebsite ok but please dont shit on it like everyone else. Its good if you know how to play it. I learned whenever i plaay it ppl are very predictable everytime
@@chesswebsite Occurred to me that I forgot to thank you for this video. If I can find a viable one to play vs the Caro-Kann, i'll be able to play virtually all gambits.

Nice. I'm glad to hear people playing more 1...d5
This guy has been uploading for 12 years lol and he sounds EXACLY the same
People like Eric Rosen for the Stanford but you uploaded a video on it before it was cool. Mad respect

Looks pretty deadly. I looked forward to getting my arse kicked trying it 🤣👍

You can play blackmar-diemer against the scandi lol
@@Blackmystix agreed! Scandi and BDG can both be highly aggressive. I also recommend the (hyper) accelerated dragon, very fun in blitz!
I'll surely add this to my scandinavian repertoire. Thank you👍
Nice video, that's a cool gambit
Glad you like it Ann
kevin your content is the best
Very nice information! I will try to implement it in my games.

I came here looking for this comment
So it's a sort of Budapest variation?
I barely play and am trash, but I can't help watching these vids 😂
But what if white plays f3 instead of f4
I guess I’ll let my engine play it out
@@AspartameBoy wasn't the reason for playing f4 because otherwise the e5 pawn is hanging?
With f3, the e5 pawn can be captured, if my memory serves.
@@MrChrisdube sure but giving back stuff is often a way to go
I might try this.

Could you do a video on what to do if white does not play c4 after 1 d4 Nf6?
If you don’t mind, I like to ask what is the best variation against black if played Bb7 & Bg7 plus e7 or d7 ? thank you
Unfortunately your question doesn't make sense...did you mean to say e6 and d6?
It sounds like maybe you are describing the Hippopotamus Defense.
Wait,
This channel is still active ?
I watched the videos like 2-3 years ago 😂😂
Question what if they play pawn to d4 what do you do
Holy shit did you answer my comments about kadas opening? Thats my go to. Also played this kadas vs sicilian last night lol
Nvm i play the kadas opening not the gambit. Lol
I may do another video on the normal Kadas opening if people want.

I feel like this opening will be very rare at beginner level
I play the Icelandic Gambit often but this is really cool!
Same here.
I generally go for the main line stuff but i like the Portuguese gambit lines.

really cool
cxb7 kind of reminds me of the Danish with the colors reversed.
Agreed
@@chesswebsite from the variations you showed, it seems to play that way, too.
