If an impatient driver had decided to turn right out of that road to beat the approaching tractor and trailer, Lee's test drive could have come to an abrupt end with a brand new but badly bent Taycan Gran Turismo returning to the dealership on a recovery truck.
I’ve been running a diesel LWB High roof Transit since 2009 (it was 3 years old when I got it), it’s been so useful, throw bikes in the back, camped in it, windsurfers thrown in the back, even a Topper dinghy, astronomy equipment. I prefer it on long motor way journeys to a car because you are higher up and can see the traffic well ahead, drivers seat has arm rest on the inside….& its returning 40mpg.

I love my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2022 V8 Summit Reserve, it pulls our RV (caravan) and boat and you can put trees in the back when you go down the local garden center and you can drive it over rocks if you desire :) and our Malamute is happy in the back. Its the nearest I would ever get to an estate car and I would not drive one in the UK though the dogs would be an issue, maybe a Q5...I miss flooring my old BMW 328 coupe down those country lanes, but I am a lot older now and Canada has mainly straight roads, even my motorbike started to get boring here.
Green colour is amazing, Lee I don’t know how hard it would be, to have a camera looking at the dash to see what you see when driving, what information you get to see when driving
All the car I've ever needed was my Lexus RX-350. You can put the back seats down and have plenty of room for everything, I use it to pick up the Christmas tree and it fits in the back with the hatch door down.
Our late Queen had a 1962 Vauxhall Cresta Friary Estate.Only about 40 were made.She apparently used it at Windsor for several years.The car today is stored at Sandringham I believe..
Whether you pay taxes or not is irrelevant. What is relevant, is what can be legally used on public roads. All road users should be reasonable in their use of that amenity and be considerate towards other road users.
I love my Estate and bought it purely for practicality. It’s only a Ford but it’s good enough for me and the hounds and all our camping equipment. Plus it’s also cheap to run especially on my wages 😂

My last car was a Honda Accord estate and my current car is a BMW F11 530d estate. Basically they’re dog buses for me and it’s nice to sit on the rear sill in the rain with the boot lid acting like an awning. It’s practical and for a family car with 6 dogs does the job.
90% of Police response and Traffic cars are estates but they usually have the engine finely tuned. As they said on Top Gear the BMW 330 estate is all the car you’ld ever need. And there’s nothing wrong with my 320d estate, single, no kids it’s great. I had my mid life crisis early in my late 20’s early 30’s so I’ve gone sensible now 😎

You say Estate Car - looks more like a big Hatchback. Too much slant on the boot and the opening in the back is a little restricted. A true Estate car would, I feel, be more concerned with space rather than looks. Since you're not in the antiques business that likely matters not - but I'd liken it more to an upmarket hot hatch than an estate.
Remember, Lee public roads are not to be used as a race track 😂. I have read mandatory speed limiters on new cars from July 7. That will probably finish the top of the range EVs off
If you want a cool estate, that's fun to drive, you're definitely in the wrong place. Try a BMW 340i or 340d Touring, or an M3 Touring. If you'd prefer an Audi try the RS4 Avant, or the RS6 Avant.
As my other half & son say.....estates are cool....but not electric ones 🙄 I'm very surprised you've gone for another electric car after the slating you gave over them in previous videos.....but each to there own.....I hope you don't live to regret your decision. Other half has a diesel volvo...clean too....& my son has a diesel audi....also very clean.....emissions help by using something called "dipatane" which helps with the engine & emissions. 😊
