Evidently Dillahunter has a developed critical spirit, he relies on a previous investigation of reality where he has found the limits of knowledge to the answers and prefers not to cling to the religious solution because then he would be left halfway in the solution. That is called "trying to understand Reality", e; another, JP was left behind on the road

It is very tiring to be constantly dismantling the straw men that your interlocutor invents.

I love Jordan Peterson, but it is embarrassing for him to invest his valuable time as a proponent for the God of the Gaps. The fact that a man of his caliber would even vaguely attribute our sense of morality to anything other than humanity achieving it autonomously is incredible. Morality is just one more accomplishment that religion has hijacked and wrongly claimed for its own invention. If humans, and our ancestors, would have waited around until man invented religion, we would have clearly raped and murdered ourselves into extinction thousands of years ago.
If it is powerful enough to indoctrinate Jordan Peterson, imagine how powerful this weapon can be used against the average child.

-It’s not that simple, look at the consequences of secularization in the US. It’s falling in madness just like the Roman Empire.
Remove the core of values and the foundation of the most powerful and greatest nation in the History. And you will face the insanity that is now all over the place in the usa. They’re so blind now, that are not even able to distinguish what is a woman..

@@GodScience If you believe that implementing religious values into government is a great idea, go live in Saudi Arabia or Iran for a few months. There is plenty of religious intervention in governmental affairs there. There are also non-secular nations whose population is atheist for the majority, like Switzerland or Norway. The biggest issue I have with debating a theist is that there hasn't been any updates or new discoveries in several hundred years. Ultimately, their argument is unimportant, anecdotal subjective experiences and "but the Bible says" arguments. Its no different with any other religion.
Just the name "Godscience" is an oxymoron. It proves my point that religion hijacks the accomplishments of humanity for its own glory. The God you speak of relies solely on faith. That's why you need constant affirmation from other believers. There is absolutely nothing scientific about it.
My assumption is that Jordan Peterson is marketing himself to a larger population of people. Maybe it's not self- deception on his part, but my point is that most men of his caliber relinquished those absurd superstitions before they even hit puberty.

@@BB-pq6oj There are several points in your argument that requiere to be properly address. First, Islam is a system of violence, it literally promotes violence and suffering among people. It's only relevant in terms of violence and terror.
Christianity, literally tells you to love your enemy and "Turning the other cheek", which ultimately Christ reflected that on the cross.
Christianity as a system produced the first Universities (Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge) Hospitals (Red Cross) Orphanages, and of course modern science (Newton, Keppler, Faraday, Maxwell, Planck, Bacon, and so on..) Our founding fathers recognized that the values printed on the Bible were the ultimate solution and stability in order to promote freedom among people. Honestly, there's no comparison between Christianity & any other religion. (Yeah superficially any religion promotes values, etc, etc) But when you actually read the book, the situation changes. At the point that you have horrible events like 09/11.
Our name GodScience only intends to promote Christian Scientists with good reputation. And precisely to deal with scientific, moral & philosophical questions about our existence...
We recommend you to follow @Unbelievable Channel, a space that brings highly educated people from different worldviews to discuss all these ideas. Have a good one friend.
      May God Bless America!
