How do you equate/relate picking to tongue-ing on wind instruments? How do you think about how your slurring impacts your sense of swing? At what tempo do you 'straighten' out your 8th notes when?

This is a great Concept Tim, if one is willing to totally change their right hand fingerings though....
Using it in a phrase or lick makes it more manageable.
