Shower gels and body washes clean you just as well as soap and are more hygienic as they are already in containers whereas soap is exposed to the air unless kept in a container and can be handled by multiple users. Body washes are generally gentler on your skin (like soap) than shower gels.
The bar of soap probably does make you feel cleaner as it’s stripping away all your natural oils. I prefer personally body washes as they are more gentle and leave the necessary oils. Both are soap, the dove bar is just much harsher on your skin (I’d avoid using the bar soap in the “personal “ area, as it’s way too stripping.)

I’m sure body washes will clean you, if they were just for fragrance everyone would know that. I’ve always used a bar soap before shower gel and it just makes you feel squeaky clean aswell as you don’t notice body odour as much xx
I've started using pink dove as well as dove shower gel and I absolutely love it, I used to be very self conscious about hard skin on my knees as it made them look dirty, since using the bar directly on them and gently massaging them for about 30 seconds they have almost disappeared! I also feel super clean after doing a double clean! I know people are saying it's bollocks but I'm totally converted! X

My other half gets an itchy throat Jess , he always makes like a clicking sound to try get rid of it , it’s allergies to something , and yes periton is good to get rid xxx
Me and my son have had itchy throat with allergies. Its awful because it can feel like its in your ears too, irritating so much, Mostly to do with hayfever, and also in our last house we had some black mould. We lived in Australia and due to the humidity We actually moved to a different country and have not had symptoms since we arrived! 😅
Oh my God, I do the scratchy throat thing as well and I have to take antihistamines but when I went to the GP about it they think it’s what they call environmental allergies so it could be anything in the air like grass pollen tree pollen dust anything really so I just take an antihistamine every day and it’s sort of keeps it under control but my family do look at me weird when I do that itchy throat noise as well but it definitely works🤣
My daughter uses that toothpaste and has for ages after seeing influencer . She has nice teeth but Iv never seen a difference I must say. But she gets online x
Re shower gel v soap, your right it's bollocks, but the soap you've bought is full of crap. If you are wanting something natural look in to castile soap😊
As for the soap thing it’s completely subjective to what you consider “clean” as, or even what you’re cleaning. For general hygiene water alone is suffice to clean you; eg.. surface dirt, oil, grease, ect. However if you’re cleaning something specific, for example - make up, fake tan, ect.. then yes you may need soap/shower gel. But yeah.. technically it’s a whole load of BS 😁
They’re talking a load of poo about the soap/shower gel thing. I happen to use both anyway - and it does make me feel cleaner, but it’s some really strange cultural thing that’s cropped up on TikTok and twitter recently. There are a lot of white people that don’t clean themselves properly, but there’s also a lot of us that do. 😂
You shouldn’t wash chicken you can spread bacteria around your sink, work surfaces and utensils. Washing won’t get rid of harmful bacteria, but thoroughly cooking will kill any bacteria.

I love a good bar of Imperial Leather! And used with a sponge that’s got an exfoliating side. Nothing feels as fresh to me as that

I think the bar soap thing is silly 😂 shower gel is soap. I use an unscented shower gel and I feel super clean

I'm not sure dove is considered a soap. It was recommended as a facial cleanser by Nadine Baggott the skin 'expert' on this morning Monday
