The explanation of the two witnesses was interesting, but the time prophecy of Revelation 11:2-3 are future. The book of Revelation is revealing. It began with "And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein". Revelation 11:1. This is talking about 1844, the investigative judgement. The idea of this book (the book of Revelation) is to begin at a point and go foward, not backward or back and forth. While the city was trodden upon the Two Witnesses were teaching in sack cloth the WORDS of GOD at the same time. What a mental picture that is.
