I do not agree with this theology. There are alot of discrepancies. One of them is simple, the Greek word for spirit in this text is pneumasin, meaning (wind breath spirit) we cannot come to the conclusion that the author meant spirits in this text in regards to man because man is not just a spirit but man has a spirit and soul and lives in a body and when the Bible refers to man it doesn’t say spirit but soul, because soul is the actual life of the man, which is why u see the writer transitioned from spirits because they no longer where in the physical realm to souls because in reference to Noah he was still alive. Spirit and soul are never used interchangeably in the scriptures. Shalom

The religious leaders were defending their TRADITIONS. Jesus was opening and un folding truth to the people and to the honest in heart leaders. Leaders have a great responsibility to rightly divide truth to those who depend on them for this knowledge in addition to their own personal accountability. Leaders are the great influencers. Please let the influence be for the right.

I believe William Miller's method of study is sound and is better than so many other methods such as what is being used in these studies. I'm not saying the method is wrong, just less effective than Miller's 'line upon line, precept upon precept; here a little, there a little, method According to Isaiah 28:10.

In my opinion, there is always wisdom in beginning at the beginning. The first chapter gives the authority of Jesus. Who is Jesus? Why is it important to study about Him? What is His authority? From where does His authority come?Chapter 1 answers all these questions and more. When the foundation is weak or omitted, the building is not quite as structurally solid or strong.

Christ said , woman ,my hour is not yet come and when it was coming close to his death, he said my hour is come. On the cross, we see blood and water. In the upper room at the Passover feast, we see where he used wine to represent his blood. So going back to the first miracle Christ turning water into Wine ( a representation of his pure untainted blood).

Pedro, in this study and first miracle, I believe that we are clearly missing a central point in this lesson. Christ said, my hour is not yet come. Many of us are looking at this from the stand point of him beginning his ministry, but we clearly see that is not the case, he already had his disciples. Where else in the gospel Christ uses the phrase “my hour is come”. Think about it.

Why? What evil has He done? No evil. His crime was the envy of the religious leaders. They hated His popularity with the common people. They resented that his teaching of the truth exposed their false teachings of traditions and their hypocrisy, their love of money, and of power. He did not purpose to upset them but the truth has a tendency to upset some. Let us be sure to follow only those leaders that teach Bible truth and live according to the principles given therein.

Amen. ....but the greatest of these is charity, (love). She went to all extremes to show her appreciation for the kind, compassionate, loving Master who had done so much for her. He had restored her life-- her sanity, her wellbeing. He had given her peace. He had cast seven devils of torment out of her. How she appreciated that! She MUST show Him her appreciation whatever the risk; whatever the cost. When at last she found the right gift, she saved up for it, no doubt it took her a long time but this was what she wanted to give. She braved the steers and criticisms and put it on His feet.And O, how Jesus appreciated it! And He let her and everyone else around her know that He appreciated it when He defended her from her critics who expressed that she had spent too much for the expensive perfume. Only the best for the Master, she thought.. IS THIS OUR MOTTO TOO? Nothing is too precious to give to His service.
