Because you live in California which has a lot of car theft, could you make a video on how you take your Camaro out for drives around town, what your parking situation is like, how you keep your car safe? You probably have a home garage, but in general when you go out to shopping and stuff
There's always someone who got a "better deal" then you out there. It's a good deal if your happy with it and you can afford it.

Great video as usual Cody. My 2023 ZL1 MSRP was 72,885. They would not budge on the price and I had lost 2 other ZL1’s from people buying them online. They gave me a 750.00 rebate and I accepted it. The price came down to 72,135. I put down 30,000. And I don’t regret it at all.
Thanks for the good video Cody!!! My 2023 ZL1 MSRP was $72,665.. I paid $67,595...so I'd say I got a pretty good deal. 👍. Mind you, that is ONLY because my 2022 was stolen/wrecked from the Lansing plant and GM gave me Employee Pricing on my '23 for the inconvenience. 😁. I'm 45 yrs old, no accidents or speeding tickets, and I pay $109/month insurance from May to October. For November through April(winter), I put garage insurance on it(Collision removed) and it's $21.00 per month. All in all, not bad and in my opinion it's ALL worth it for my car 😁🙌👍

@Hot-1LE Thanks! Yeah, I think I was more suprised that I paid less for the new '23(even with the $3,400 annual MSRP increase) than I was going go pay for the '22. 😳. I see alot of Camaros getting stolen as well...damn shame...bastards!!!!🤬🤬. I'll definitely do my best to keep mine safe...at ALL cost!! 💪😤

Fk what ppl think there not making your payment and fun cost money. I got a 21 lt1 last year and it runs me about 800 a month between payment and insurance. Bought a brand new ram laramie for work it runs new about 1550.00 a month between the 2.... I did look at a 24 2ss and was approved for 1130.00 a month I passed bc my truck was getting alot of miles from traveling for work.
Nothings free ppl whine about everything and it costs money to have fun. I like your set up I'm not gonna bag on ya I'd pay it to if I had to!! Sharp car boss

Recently discovered your channel though currently have a 5th Gen 13 Camaro RS V6, I’ve been surprised on how this car performs. Will eventually move up to an SS 1LE or ZL1. Just amazed on how reasonable insurance is for the Camaro, when I had my 15 FRS I was paying over 150 a month granted I own multiple cars.
A lot more younger guys crashing those FRS than there is camaros 😅 i used to pay more for my wrx than I did a mustang Gt. Those subaru guys go hard 😅 enjoy your beast man!

I got an Arizona ZL1 and they met me in Palm Springs
It was a year old but was basically MSRP
wasn’t a problem for me because the new model years MSRP went to the moon and I wanted the rapid blue

I had a salesman that was rude in Ocala fl buying a 06 GTO. I walked away went to Tampa . My ZL1 I bought in Va Beach about 2 hours from my N C home. I have no payments I paid cash . My car is rural so I get about 18 but on a highway trip I saw it varying between 24 and 27 on cruise.
I wanted one of those GTOs sooooo bad. I might still get one. The gas mileage def drops a lot with stop and go driving. Might be the full accel from dead stop but hey thats what its for 😅
When I got my 24 ZL1 in Nov., I got it for about $800 under MSRP. I had to travel about 280 miles to a dealership in an adjacent state. Whether that was a good deal or not I don't know, but it seemed acceptable.
That IS def a good deal. I think its important the deal works for the buyer, more so than what everyone else gets. Too many variables. But 800 under in the last 3 years is almost pulling teeth. Great Job!
This was very informative! It crazy to say you have a zl1 and only pay 570 a month! That's less than my toyota lol moral of the story is that if you work hard, be patient, and save up, you will come out on top! C8 ZO6 next? 😮

I pay 1350/month for mine. I also have extended bumper to bumper warranty and paint and interior protection. There was a small markup on mine.

When I got my 2023 ZL1 in august of 23 the MSRP was 73995.00 after some of the dealership add ones and tax I paid 79918.

I just dont got the roads for it out here. I bottom out on the zl1 as it is most driveways and wanted to keep mag ride. AWE touring. I love it man. Enjoy your beast bro

I have 23 5.0 supercharged 750hp and average 17mpg combined pay $1180 month . pay $90 insurance a month but yeah this fun cars are expensive but a blast to drive 😊

For now progressive. Used to have amazing rates with wawanesa then they doubled it and I had to go haha
I got my 22 ZL1 A10 coupe used 1400 miles for 73,900.
A little over priced but no one in my area was getting allocations and the people who were getting one was starting @ 7-10k mark up.
I love my car though and have no regrets.
When I was young 19 yrs old I bought a brand new 2001 SS. It was dream car. I still lived at home but I paid everything payments, insurance, gas on $12.00 per hour 😂
Hard times hit in my early 20s having one young child and another on the way. Had to sell the car 😢
For the last 20ish years it’s been civic, Sentra and a bucket or two.
The first semi nice car I got was when I bought my 2020 Camry hybrid. Still a dad mobile though.

No sunroof. When i had it i rarely used it and would always get the sun in my eyes. It also made it much tighter when wearing a helmet. It did look cool open though haha
@@Hot-1LE no sunroof does make the interior feel more spacious and allow for more headroom not to mention how good. It looks outside and the rigidity it offers, but having the sunroof does make it feel more open from the cars I’ve test driven. I wanted cooled seats primarily but I want the ambient lighting. So to me a sunroof isnt a deal breaker and everything I want can be added like ambient lighting, camera mirror, and the cooled seat kit from nextgen mod site.
Absolutely. My Red Hot 19 had the sun roof. My WCT 21 does not. Track days are so mush more forgiving with the humped roof line not having my helmet rub.
Didn't want a 1LE even with the name of your channel? I would guess with how hard it was to find this one it would have been much harder to find a 1LE of the spec you want.
The name of the channel started with the SS 1LE. The versatility of the mag ride to be a daily driver and a track car is why I loved it so much. I drove the zle on a test drive and I knew it was a no go. If i had better roads and I only used it for track than maybe, but its much more used as a street car.
Some of the dealers can act like mafioso. I was at an Acura dealership once and heard the sales manager screaming at a salesman in a rude manner while talking shit about my downpament and my credit score. I played the game until I sat with the sales manager in the office and explained to him that he's abusing his coworkers as well as the customers. I walked out and he was chasing and apologizing all the way to my uber begging me to buy the car.

damn 140 a month on insurance. I'm 19 and mine is $410 CAD and thats after a discount I got it would have been $510

Man it is getting out of control! My car is garaged and I am in an area where these things dont normally happen. I do have some trackers on the car. Working on that for next video though. Its really gone nuts

We appreciate dealerships being honest and upfront with their markups, they deserve their profit because without it they cannot stay in business. What's "fair"? Hey,, truth be known "fair" is whatever they can get. If the buyer doesn't take the time, do the research about their next new car purchase fault lies with themselves. Ignorance to the world of auto buying is not an excuse in these times of the internet. A buyer MUST leave emotion out of the equation and look solely "at the deal" or they're in for a financial hard ride. Sorry but that's reality.
