Yeah quicker spool and more noise and slight throttle response increase. Peak HP probably no if maybe 1hp. It is interesting it made some difference though. Ill throw it back in and see if I can get any data to compare.

It's actually called "snow screen" in VW documentation. There probably is some air distribution across the filter but it can come out long term with no issues. Also found out VW doesn't put them in regions that have hot climate.

@Hot-1LE I got the r600 racingline intake off the bat when I got my 22 MK8R 2 and a half years in of owning my car and love it. Stage 1 + E85 it's so much fun to drive

@ruki9043 dude that thing must fly. There is so many mods for this car its kinda overwhelming lol

@@Hot-1LE can safely say however stage 2 doesn't make too much of a difference the main increase in power is intake intercooler and tune. Downpipe and stage 2 only really changes sound makes it louder with a 15 or so hp increase. Mines also on coil overs lowered by 50mm 😅

Dude this is awesome two car setup! I almost got a 7.5. Fell in love with the 7 when they came out. The .5 headlights upped that. Just good cars all around.

in my opinion, just a tune. All the stock parts work great with tunes. If you want more sound, do an intake and or catback exhaust

I went with 034 motorsports tune. Also installed the holy shift kit and shift knob from @deutscheautoparts.

@Hot-1LE lowering springs, rear sway bar, track exhaust from awe, cold air intake apr. Apr short shifter and bfi shift knob.
