My house is all tile where I live in Florida. So I bought this vacuum and I was happy for about a month. It's does good on my carpeted rug. But I returned it for a Bissell Cleanview and I am happy with it!
I have a eureka 4700. The little plastic wheels on the wheel carriage underneath that control the height adjustment are seized up due to rust and other things. I want to remove the wheel carriage to clean it up and get rid of the rust so the wheels can spin freely again but I'm not able to figure out how to do it and Google has been no help. Any ideas?
I have this vacuum and I agree, it does work great but mine is super loud and every time I stop it and put it back into its upright position, dirt calls out of the bottom!? I don't understand why? Any ideas🤔
@@VacMaster1991 no! It's practically brand new and I'm very good on cleaning out the basket/filter etc. Probably more than necessary. I have a cat and I really do like the vacuums power/suction but I'm constantly either sweeping an area at the end or re- vacuuming once finished 😩
@@VacMaster1991 I bought this new vac. NEU180 eureka. I’m trying to use the attachments with the hose. I get no suction. I can find No switch to change suction from floor brush to hose. Any ideas?
nice video review, just 1 question. 1) Does the brush roller at the bottom motorized? what i mean is when you turn ON the vacuum does the roller also rotate to loosen up the dust on floors for easy effective suction? this is going to be a decision maker for me.
Yes. The brush roll does spin. But I would honestly not get this vacuum. Its filtration performance is so poor. Its also super cheaply made. Spend a bit more and get something better. do you think Bissell porwerglide pet hair bagless vacuum cleaner blue is better than eureka power speed for pick cat litter from hard floor and carpet ?
The Powerglide is 10000x better than this eureka in every way. I would actually recommend the Bissell Multi Clean Allergen Pet. www.amazon.com/BISSELL-MultiClean-Allergen-Upright-2999/dp/B08DZQWQLQ/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=bissell+multiclean&qid=1603748398&sr=8-4
Does ur floor settings knob on the bottom connect to anything? Or* does it look like a false knob like you'd see on a toy? Had mine for almost 3yrs never thought about how other vacuums connect to the brush roll when you move it but when I do it on this vacuum (off/on) nothing changes lol have I imaged seeing a difference when I change it or is it something I can't see happening inside?😂
Mine has the same problem, height adjustment is not connected to anything . It doesn't move when you turn the knob. Had bought mine in 2018 and realised height adjustment doesn't work just yesterday😔
On here to find out about just what you are asking. Seems to me a dummy knob. The roller spins all the time the machine is on & turning knob does NOT seem to effect ANY change!
@@avrohomm4139 yeah I figured lol what a scam, sad part is I still have the vacuum 😅 when I'm able to get a new one I'm going to check this b4 I buy it👍 ✅
Hi 👋. Question, how much would it have cost for Eureka to have added the retractable cord feature to this particular vacuum? I have/had a Whole House Clean retractable cord vacuum that recently was *laid to rest* after several years of use. Then my husband was like *I got you...* and bought me this without consulting with me. Feels like Eureka and other companies charge extra when it could have been included. Thanks for your time & great video!♡
Its about 50$ extra, I would honestly recommend this vacuum here, www.amazon.com/BISSELL-Cleanview-Upright-Bagless-2252/dp/B07F6N3RT6/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=bissell+cleanview&qid=1605473555&sprefix=bissell+cl&sr=8-3
A lot of this video is of you cleaning the vacuum with another vacuum.
I just bought this vacuum because the reviews seemed good. There are way too many out there to choose from!
Hope you enjoy it!

For all tile. A cordless vacuum would he great.
Filter is backwards. The black foam is the pre filter
Ok thanks
Thx I took my filter out and couldn’t figure out how it went back this helped me!!😜😜
Your welcome. Glad you found the video helpful

I have never used or repaired that vacuum so I am not sure. Here is what I was able to find

I just bought mine from Amazon should be arriving soon. I hope it’s as good as the reviews say. I paid about $98 total for mine.
The Bissell cleanview or hoover rewind are better options for $100
Thank you bro
No prob

Is the filter dirty. It could have low suction from a dirty filter and debris could be getting left behind on the bottom

Not sure. If you have pets i would recommend a better vacuum with sealed hepa filtration
@@VacMaster1991thank you so much, that makes sense 😊I appreciate your quick feedback
@VacMaster1991 the motor sounds like a 8amp bissell
How do you utilize the brush
Put it on the end of the hose and dust stuff with it.
@@VacMaster1991 but I did that and it still works only on the bottom brush. There’s no switch to change it to the hose.
@@bebegirl9940 which brush. The spining floor brush or dusting brush

@@bebegirl9940 there is no switch. You pull off the hose and there should be suction. If not check for clogs and clean the filters.
Vac Master, should the wheelbrush in front of the vacuum under the lights spin automatically while in use ?
Yes. It should spin. If it doesn't then replace the belt.
Hello, does yours shoot out air form the vents above the floor height knob? Idk if I that’s normal since I barley bought it
Yep. It's normal

No it works alright. When you turn it the knob rises the wheels on the bottom.
You'll notice the height raising and lowering only when the vacuum is running

Yes. The next machine I'm getting is the floor rover.
How much suction if test with (water gauge dial) thnx
