I dont know what it is with you but I learned from you quick & easily....thank you pimp'n. Im a rapper who bought a MPC X a few years back & you have me HELLA INSPIRED & my work flow has simplified without me getting stuck going thru sounds.....thank you.
What's better than people not knowing the sample you are using is..... flipping a WELL KNOWN sample in a way that no one can or has before. But that may be an unpopular opinion around these parts
I used to try to keep the mystic of the sample but after doing live producer showcases , I started to use more notable samples so the audience would have a better understanding of us transforming these samples. There’s no right or wrong way to sample . Have fun … great content … I’m locked in 🙏🏾💯
They find them. They always do. I remember sampling bad things by The Cult before Cole flipped it. Nowadays producers have musicians make the royalty free samples for them which helps with clearance
I feel you. No magician wanna reveal his secret. Ain't it ironic tho, how so many producers want credit for they beats, but don't wanna credit who they sample?? 😅
this art call sampling is supposed to hide the sample so no one knows wut you sampled . and to hide it from the original artist to not have to clear it if your chops filtered ,pitched, rearranged or reversed ,they mite not notice it
Dope content as usual. The chop feature on Tracklib is game changing. I actually do it from my phone and save to my collections, transfer when I get home.
@@lseven79 it was more like skipping around on the website scrolling through the songs, not audio wise. Just double checked and it seems a lot more stable now!
It all depends, sometime I make the samples unrecognizable, but mostly I want to pay homage to the artist I am sampling, so you can tell if you know. Great Video, TrackLib is dope.
Im watching all of your videos right now. Everyone of those is so helpful. Thanks very much for all that precious knowledge. I sample a lot out of anime soundtracks, which is fun, because the japanese made a lot of really unique pieces, so some anime hardcore fans always recognize the samples I used.😅
Don't sleep on the fact that this man offers you a hundred credits on Tracklib if you subscribe through the link in the description. Thanks man big win! Keep up the dope content!
Killer video. Never seen anyone work like that. The MPC is so versatile. I sure wish the MPC would allow recording of pad mutes like track mutes. When you work on tracklib like they do they charge credits for every chop or do they just charge you once for the whole song/stem?
I hate Culture Vultures (looking at some of these clown ass comments). I appreciate Jae Freshman to the utmost with his tutorials for the MPC, but Boom Bap-wise THERE'S NOTHING BETTER THAN DIGGING FOR VINYL! Leave that Tracklib/Splice ish alone.
we from different times bro , i didnt come from the era of diggin for samples and tracklib is no different bro , things will continue to innovate and plus it more convenient , i can only imagine how hard it is to clear a track you found diggin or time consuming vs having a tracklib subscription and having it already cleared for you ,but either way i aint tryna convince no one but just showing people my way of how i like to create , im not into senseless battles with producers on how they want to create music, definitely appreciate you for tuning in i dont care about them comments

I don't want anyone knowing the samples I use😆😆

@@JaeFreshmen Can use the same stuff but everyone does things differently and can't flip the same way too good tutorial

Jae can you do more NY Drill/Cash Cobain type tuturials on MPC?
hmmmm i have been listening to that "favorite lady on repeat prod cash , may have to look more into his work

Damn, I feel slow. Didn't even realize that you could download sections of the song on tracklib. Shout 2 u always teaching new things. 🙏
Another great video! Awesome channel brother! 🎉
Dope vid... learn every vid you do... question... can tracklib be used using a tablet/phone?..
I have trouble on my android devices when scrolling for samples. It skips around on me
@tompbeatsCO thanks for the reply even with a steady connection?

i feel that ,respect bro thanks for watching
thats sauce
💯
When you download sample off tracklib how did you get the individual chops,I’m having trouble with that part.
it has to be on loop
@@JaeFreshmen when I download it on loop will it already be chopped up?
@@Mirrorman1986 yes

Bro loved the help, still learning I'm from the old school of beat making, what kind of computer do you use

When you work on tracklib like they do they charge credits for every chop or do they just charge you once for the whole song/stem?
You can record pad mutes by using global automation "write mode"
How do you clear samples from tracklib if it’s just a beat tape
You got a video on setting up audio with a interface
I like how you skipped over the naughty parts of that song 😂😂😂 smooth move !
Samples, mysterious…. Just like the beats.
If the sample is from an iconic song, I would prefer to have it somewhat recognizable to captivate the audience
I like to play original b4 or after the beat sometimes
Thats what I do too
How much do you charge for music sample?
What’s the hardware he is using to sample?
mpc live 2?
@@JaeFreshmen thanks!
It depends on how I feel about the sample, if I feel it's a gem then nah, I ain't letting a soul know where I got it 😅
lol
Thanks 🙏🏽
KEEP IT MYSTERIOUS!!! I love chopping samples into new UNRECOGNIZABLE arrangements.. Thats it
true 💯
Food 4 thought, " it's not what they play. It's how they play"
Tracklib makes good tools, if people don't wanna use them that's on them lol
facts g
Love your stuff, how you detail the way to do something is totally cool, than you Sensei ....I am learning some good shit :)

Tracklib hitting UA-cam harder than better help
but tracklib is actually fire tho if you know you know and this is not a sponsor video btw
