Yib yab is my new favorite word
Put the plate up to your ear and listen for crackling.
Me with tinnitus hearing: "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Well, I guess it's good.
I also have tinnitus 😆
I came here because I couldn't fall asleep. Oorah 🤘🏻🇺🇸
I know me to have to wake up for the plane
same
Doesn't make any sense.
What plate carrier you running ? And what mag pouches also ?
Me too!.. have a few carriers.. just seeing anything new,.. that/what may be?... Good info for anybody untrained for sure!
Watching these videos brings me back to when I was in the Marine Corps.
You think I'm watching this for fun? 😔
We’re using the same gear at MCT right now, these UA-cam videos are a part of the curriculum
I got MCMAP tomorrow for my gray belt. Had to watch this to set up my FLAK. Thank you!
Pog
Gray belt was awesome. Hip throws were the best part
Dude makes this look easy
Thank you!!! Received my flak undone and I had no clue what I was doing 🤣 This really helped
Keep going to the PX hoping to find the shoulder strap pads here in 29, anyone else get what I’m talking about?
I had a morning pt with my flak and I didn’t have it set up this came in clutch
This thing is pretty sweet. I really like the quick-release feature.
Dude I just bought a JPC these things are ass can’t shoulder a rifle right with or without the yib-yab bs
I love this ASMR
aidan wroth lol
Lmao. Same when I heard that krinkle of the plates. The velcroing. Mmmm.
)
You got me at i have to inventory... Where do i sign to get out of hefe
Um I wouldn't worry too much about it since this information is already available in the public due to things like the Freedom of Information Act. Besides it helps Marines assemble the equipment properly.
this seems alot better then the mtvs we had (modular tactical vest) before i eas back in 2008,it seemed they were designed around a friggin cardboard box...
It's basically a combination of EI SPC with the MTV
Honestly though the shoulder straps are a pain in the ass
Needs to be more comfortable. Shouldering a weapon is pretty hard because the IMTV in the video does not allow space for the buttstock to sit properly on; it just moves off or is very uncomfortable.
what ever happen to the dragon's skin armor? Like that shit took a grenade during testing and was lighter than regular gear.
Also extremely expensive to outfit an entire force with.
Last I read of it was it didn't do very well with subsequent hits.
@Ben White also had problems with falling apart in heat.
The vest alone weighed upwards of 47 lbs. I wouldn't call that lighter than the 30 lbs interceptor being used at the time.
It failed due to the glue not withstanding heat
Awesome...................... Thanks for the video & Thumbs Up :D
Thank you for the help
this is where i started modifications to due marine zoot suit
This video was bought and paid for prior to the budget cuts. Besides, don't you want your Marines to have every possible advantage available to them?
I agree with you wholeheartedly.
So the MC is having huge budget cuts, yet there is time and money for this? What happened to an NCO teaching his/her Marines?
Wow, Personnel Other than Grunt (POG). Did you think that one up all by yourself?
I prefer my PIG carrier... But good to see there are better defensive systems being used now! Semper Fi
Felix Tactical die you use it during active duty? I thought you couldnt buy your own Pc's
it doesn't matter if they cant beat it. its like telling somebody ur gonna punch them but if your fast you still hit them even though they knew you were gonna hit them. simple :0
Good point.
This is from 2013, did they at least changed it?
DSCIRE 128 2019 here and nope still the same heavy weight uncomfortable restrictive movement piece of gear
@@maxwellto yup still the same lmao
They have the PC gen 3 now
Hello. Need some help with custom work on an Agilite k19 plate carrier. If you know of a company or individual that is proficient with this type of work please let me know. Thank you.
if the grunts can know how it works, I'm pretty sure the public can.
dommage que us army n'a plus l'équipement Woodland sa été un beau camouflage us des années 1980 appret la guerre du Vietnam
Most "POGs" wouldn't need the video, they would just simply be able to read the instructions that come with the equipment. I'm sure this video is intended for Grunts.
Timothy Wilson shits
Epic
They deadass named the thing "Cumer Band"
AMAZING, SEMPER FI, MARINES
By the time I'm done with assembling, the war is over.
amazing right :0
Anyone else get this recommend to them
I dont have the quick release cable
Under what circumstances would the emergency release line be pulled exactly?
+Shini In water deeper than your nose
Vest catches on fire and needs removing, emergency medical treatment, when drowning etc
or you just wanted to piss off your buddy ...teh quick release always makes for some good fun
what is the inner cumber bun for? is that to suck in fat bodies?
Does anyone know where I can buy one I was a marine in 2019 and now that I’m out i want one for airsoft
ebay
@@haley746 thank you
As a Ukrainian military I thank authors of this video, USMC and people of USA for they support. UA 🤝 USA
The PC just looks like a modded IMTV w/ no collar/neck or lower back.
That’s pretty much it.
Why not?
Hell...we only had flak jackets!
Agreed 100%
What does this plate carrier weigh as its shown in the video?
Probably less than 15lb. Level 4 front and back plates weigh in around 5ish each depending on manufacturer.
I know two level 3+ plates weigh 20lb on their own. Just my two cents
@@michaelsorenson3887 what lmao how would level 4 plates weigh less then level “3+” that makes 0 sense
@@facade0074 hes probably talking about steel "level 3+"
with the 7.62 APM2 plates it weighs over 40lb i think but i’ve never weighed mine just what it feels like
@@facade0074 level 4 is ceramic. Level 3+ is typically steel. Ceramic is lighter than steel.
same colors but long
I'm here for the handsome men.
Bruh jus get a agilite k19 that's what I use for airsoft milsim
as much as a pain in the ass it is to attach side plates call me old school but give me a pasgt any day of the week hehe
Get home guys . It's already started . Boston was the tester and beginning , don't. Be left stranded oversea while your family is being rounded up
Why don't they use steel plates?
+Henry Trenton It would be too heavy.
+Henry Trenton Plus, they're not approved for use.
Personally, I think that's stupid. Steel plates are FAR better, but, yes, they are MUCH heavier. My own carrier is 25 pounds, bare. But, it can stop pretty much any rifle threat, excluding .50 BMG, .338, and a few others.
+James Maxwell
How's affordability? Are ceramics cheaper? How much heavier are ceramics?
Depends on where you buy them from. I got mine from AR500.
Ceramics are NOT heavier; steel is heavier but it offer better protection.
MJ gy
We don't use these anymore... were transitioning into SAPI Plate Carrier's
Pray for new protective equipment?
For the enemy
Now they have a D in it... THEY HAD TO PUT THE D
When i was deployed inside the warzone i had one of these demolished vests which the plates would fall off, Then i realised that i’m gonna die but somehow i managed to survive
Am I the only person who thinks we shouldn't be this descriptive of our protective equipment on a public forum?
It's not a secret
have me put in hotel romm or ima forcefuly take over all govermnts with my space troops from not earth
M.
Yib Yab
Eerrrrrrr
Only complain is that it's ugly
Gas chamber coming up, then field op...
now i know where to shoot
Battle Born he is just some russian troll fuck him he is going to get hit by a meteor, get drunk, get beat by police for being drunk, continue to be rulled by a government which is controlled by the russian mob and ran by people with nothing more than highschool degrees before he shoots a marine
Russians cant shoot for shit
Nope. Not smart at all.
Yib yab, yib yab
