The sad thing is what they have done is LEGAL. From Delaware loans to his brother, to profiting off Mastercard IPO while holding up credit legislation, to credit board member seats during the financial crisis, to Burisma, to the recent board of a Chinese company, and other incidents. Politicians profit off their positions, and the worst thing, is that it's totally LEGAL. Politicians constantly vote down the insider stock trading bill, which would change the fact they are basically immune to insider trading all while creating legislation for public companies.
Having shell companies and receiving millions from overseas companies and putting them in various family members accounts isn’t legal.
No, these could be corruption charges, particularly for Ukraine. As far as Hunter being on the board, technically legal depending on how he was paid, how they disclosed what he was paid, did he pay taxes on what he was paid, was it fair payment for the job he was doing, was he qualified. Lots of questions. The answer to some of these can change a lot
