I am loving Top Tip Tuesdays! I’ve been sewing many years but have learnt so much from these tips! Invisible zips have always been my nemesis but I’m definitely going to follow your instructions next time. I’ve never commented on a you tube video before but felt I had to as you, and these tips are amazing. Well done Rachel and I look forward to many more Top Tip Tuesdays!!

Both videos are really clear and helpful, thank you. You could also finish the waist seam using the “stitch in the ditch” method, if you don’t want to sew it by hand, (as I’m sure you know).

I used your previous instructions to insert inseam pockets into my Hallon dress today! It was great to keep going back to the recording to check my understanding and I’m very pleased with the results. It will be forever known as the Rachel method from now on. ❤

I have done invisible zips before…….however, I’ve never lined a garment. Definitely going to save this video for future reference. Thank you Rachel ⭐️

L❤ve this series Rachel. You are a great teacher 😊 can you do a lesson about shirt collars? I really struggle sometimes getting the edges of the collar stand tucked inside where you sew it closed all across the back neck if you get me? It always ends up feeling too bulky. I then sometimes seem to trim too much off and its a nightmare trying to enclose tiny bits of fabric. If i use sometimes a bit heavier weight with all the bulk, doing a buttonhole at the top then ends in disaster.
