Good job of walking through this unit, Mike. Those of us old enough to remember Eventide rack units look at this and just stumble, questioning does it replace the racks?, should it even be considered a guitar-only unit?, and why not use this like an outboard Lexicon desktop controller without the rack? I really think this one is going to confuse people because it is super powerful yet falls into so many categories - it can stand in for plugins, can replace rack units, be midi/computer sync'd, or just sat right in a pedal board as a dumb 1-shot. Rarely does a pedal come out that baffles me but this one is destined to make a lot of people begin rethinking their workflow, or if it's even wise to TRY to document how they got their sounds. I gave up on that years ago as nothing ever sounds ''the same'' down the road, even with the same equipment/settings/location/etc, but this unit really makes that point clear - ie just run with it, make great sounds and be happy with whatever you find and move on. Presets are going to become like TikTocs in the near future.
The Eventide Eclipse would eat these H90's like Tic Tacs. Too bad eventide didnt just relase the Eclipse, at a price of $900, instead of this. The company is getting weird and probably bankrupt soon. Shame, since the Rose pedal was so cool, but then they didnt stand behind it.
I think i can wait for a price drop. I know its very tempting! But is it really that necessary? Some of those sounds I can get from a combination of single and multi effects boxes I already have!😃
I was scared of this pedal when I first got it but it’s very intuitive after an hour or so. It does EVERYTHING EXTREMELY well. Might have to wait on an update for the coffee experience…
H90 Harmonizer It's a pedal that's useless. it costs 1000 euros, it contains effects that will never be used... who would waste a lot of time for a rev or delay that can be edited on any other pedal such as the NUX atlantis? It's just a very expensive commercial PRESENTATION from Eventide, any other pedal board, Valeton GP200, Mooer 300, and others have high quality digital effects WITHOUT SPENDING all that money. think about it!!!
Well, that's a hot take. You really can't go by the factory presets; like any unit, they're designed to grab attention and scream "look what I can do." If you know how to go under the hood, you can use this to replace a lot on your pedal board. You can trust me when I say it's worth the 1K Euros.
If Mike Hermans plugged into a toaster.
I would buy the toaster.
Haha! Thanks!
Nice rendition of You can't hurry love!👍
Thanks so much!!
That thing is crazy. Wow.
It really is ridiculous
You can't hurry love... No, you just have to wait. Love don't come easy... It's a game of give and take. 🎶
Nice! Can't wait to get mine on pre-order!
Hope you enjoy it!
fantastic job!!
Thank you! Cheers!

Do you still have your Suhr Bella ?
I do! Still a favorite
Great 👊 🎭
Thanks ✌
I decided to keep my 4 individual Dot 9 pedals. They have character. Fck that sterile H90
dot 9?
I have an H90 and the MicroPitch and TrieceraChorus dot9 pedals and the algorithms are identical. You must be really into that “Swirl” button.
I really hate that I'm going to have to pony up for one lol. Hard number to swallow, but man it's amazing
I feel they deserve the $900 for all the hard work and a job well done.
@@realtruenorth seems like it. If I didn't think so I definitely wouldn't buy it
@@MrKadidle51 right. It really does seem like a bargain these days, when that's Ike 6 weeks of gas money LOL.

Unfortunately, I'm too stupid for a pedal like this. Does it make coffee as well? 😶

@@popintothechemist : Hahaha…., okay, I’ll have to look into it then. 😂
Dude, when they can put this in a box with 4 knobs and sell it for $199 I'll buy it. Just sayin

Thought about it, and the Eventide just sounds better.
