A lot of lotions have alcohol in it to stabilize different fragrance ingredients, same with detergents (also it's a solvent so it dissolves stuff!) but it's not like it's vodka or anything. Whether it was out of guilt, regret, or just the fear of consequences, he has a job, got himself an apartment and off the streets. That's what having a job got him. Meanwhile, doing criminal bullshit almost ruined all of it! I think he got the message and with being homeless for a portion of his life I think that's fantastic progress. I disagree. I know someone this actually happened to. They wore gloves and stopped wearing anything containing any kind of fragrance and it still would comeback a false positive. They court actually discovered it was actually faulty. The type of tether she has is super faulty and they need to take those off the market.

@@daviscierraifywhat you are describing is not a "false positive" tho.
It's just a regular positive. Even if the person was not intentionally ingesting the alcohol, enough of it got into their system to give a positive result.
A false positive is when you come up positive for one substance but it was actually a different substance that triggered it.

@@chad3232132I've listened to many many many cases where people are clearly grasping at straws to try and explain away their positive drug test.
I actually believed this woman. She had a very specific explanation about the day she got the washer and the timeline of when she would have theoretically been coming into contact with the alcohol.
But then they said her BAC was 0.24!?!
Girl. Even if you didn't drink, you would have felt drunk after washing all those clothes lmao. And you wouldn't be confused as to why you tested positive. You would know exactly what happened. She lies

The judge's audio drives me nuts. It seems the judge's voice is getting picked-up by some omnidirectional microphone somewhere in the courtroom. Her voice echoes a bit, and it's slightly indistinct. But everyone else who's on a phone sounds great. Why can't the AV geeks in the courtroom give the judge a microphone?
