Why is this surprising to people? Iran is a solid country especially amongst the people. No country is perfect but it's definitely safe.
Persian culture is one of the most important and influential in the history of civilization. You don't have to be Iranian to admit that.
Iran is the oldest country in the world, with a massively intelligent population, and personally, I have heard the NORTH of Iran is the most beautiful part.

There are many reasons for these views. First, Iran borders countries that are in wars and have unstable governments (Iraq and Afgahnistan). This gives the impression Iran will be like the two countries mentioned, even though its not the case. Second, the government (US government) along with the media paints Iran as a terrorist country!!! This is sad because I haven't many terrorists come from that country.

Iranian people are extremely hospitable & help as much as they can when they meet a tourist. "do not believe the media" we are not terrorists & just a google search shows the safety of Iran (despite all middle-east's unsafe conditions) so travel here! you'll have a beautiful experience 🇮🇷👌🏻❤️
