Great point. That was a subtlety learned during our first game and really helps out the Russian player as they don't start with inherent teams.

I would love to someday run games in a similar fashion. His videos are one reason I looked into platoon level games. I'm just glad I waited till CoC came out :)

My wife hates that I keep buying rules. So I'm into CoC for now. I think these will be the last purchases for mini rules for awhile. I'm hoping to meet someone local that has BA to try out.

Thank you very much. As I'm new myself to the game, I hope i'm not leading you to far astray. However, if you find anything I say to be incorrect from the rules in the book, just consider those "house rules" :)

On p36 of the rules tripod mounted MG's inlcude the MG34 an MG42 so I think the national army list may be incorrect listing them as LMG's.

I didn't take the time to dig out the rules before replying, so this is more of a thought. It may be that the weapon can be used in either role. You may be able to get it on a tripod as a heavier version or use it in the LMG more portable version as seen in the squad make up from the national list.

Yes, I think you what you say makes sense even though that is not indictaed by the rules. Only just started playing this last week.
