    Hi Mr Tan. Could you please direct me to a resource to help me understand the three types of measurements of one’s role? I think I am most motivated by people-related measurements but I am unsure if I am understanding how this is measured. I am a doctor managing a small number of team members and am trying to understand what the % split between my management role or my clinical work of consulting patients needs to be. I feel less fulfilled at work than the days in the past where I was more involved in the care of patients and less involved in management of projects and other staff.

      Hi Dr Nel - Glad that you are thinking hard about the people measurement. I would recommend that you take a deeper approach and measure your own personal motivation first. Then with this established "internal measurement", the rest would make sense. Would recommend you check out CliftonStrengths for personal motivation measurement and the Gallup Q12 tool for people measurement in general.
