Hi Jack!!! I have yet to read anything by Colm Toibin, but I'm now very intrigued to give this author a try! My reading this past month was a big no-no, I gave up on a couple of books and barely managed to finish one 🙈 Crossing all my fingers that December will be a better month both reading- and health-wise, for both of us! Have a lovely week! 😊
@@rie_violet hello my friend! So glad you’ve found an author you’re intrigued by! I really do love Brooklyn. So excited to read the sequel. Oh I’m sorry about your reading month. I hope it picks up for you and you find a new favourite. Let’s hope December is fantastic for both of us! Have a great week 😊
Big fan of the moustache. It's giving me Paul Mescal vibes. I would vote for even to go full Pedro Pascal. I was a bit meh about The Bee Sting too. Definitely too long. And it gave me no sense of place. I always had to remind me that it takes place in Ireland and not somewhere in Milwaukee.
@@ameliareads589 THANK YOU! Paul Mescal, you have honoured me. Made my day 😂 In total agreement with you about The Bee Sting. You are so right. Honestly took me like two weeks to read 😂
You’ve sold me on Brooklyn, I’ll have to give it a read/listen!
@@alexander-de love this! I hope you enjoy it ❤️
When I am watching this 67 people has seen the vlog you talk about, and it is next on my watch list 💖
@@caspiansvensson so glad it’s next on your list! Thanks 😊

You read a lot in November. Wow! Great reviews. How do you find time to sleep?
@@P.EnglishLiterature I did have a great November. I can’t really sleep at night so that helps 😂
